265 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of tie Village Board of Trustees was held on <br />August 12th., 196~, at ?.30 P.M., in the Mesier Homestead. <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari,. Try VanVoOrhis, Tr. Nap°leon~ Tr. <br />Cheetham~ Tr. Temple, Tr. Bain and Attorney Pearse. <br /> <br />Tr. DiDomiZio was absent. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. VanVoorhis and seconded by Tr. Napoleon to dispense <br />with the regular order of business~to hear guests, carried. <br />Mrs. Seidman, wh~es near Brick Row~ complained about residents <br />piling re,use in front of her home throughout the week. MaYor Furnari <br />told her we would check into this problem. Mrs. Seidman also stated <br />that Mr. Centuri Clogs her sewer~ and wan~s permission to build a <br />sepe~ate one. She was told she cand° this at her own expense. She <br />also complained about Mr. Centuri. for not leSting the children <br />bathe in the lake. N~yor Furnari. told her we are aware of the situation <br />and will have the Police check the area. <br />Mrs. Fulton addressed the Board on the restricted propertie~ in the <br />proposed zoning ordinance. She related that property restricted on' <br />the deed should be left restricted. She also'felt that, regardless, <br />of a business in the area~ the area should be left residential. Attorney <br />Pearse stated that these restrictions are from a higher Court and <br />supercedes Village zoning. Mayor Fur~ri thanked Mrs. Fulton for <br />her report. <br /> Attorney Pearse reported that Zoning Commission has set aside certain <br /> areas as commercial in Residential locationsand that Mrs, Fulton <br /> wanted theme a~ea~ by-passed. Mr. Pearse stated that we are not <br /> familiar with deed reStrictions. <br /> <br />Mr. Groenwegen reported that de~d restrictions are not the concern <br />of the planning Board and that oning had been established to meet <br />present land uses. He also stated that two lots in Mrs. Fulton's <br />area have been changed to residential. Mayor Furnari stated that* <br />the Board will decide after the Planning Board's report. <br />Mr~ Stein and Mr. Kayia addressed the Board, reporting that they <br />have purchased the Sheffield property on Route 9 and had planned <br />to erect about 30 apartments. Mr. Stein wanted permission to build <br />these apartments and the use'of water and sewer, already available <br />in this area. He alsO reported he has a description of the propertY. <br />Mayor Furnari stated he would have to confer with the Planning Board <br />on this problem~ <br /> Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr. Bain to return to the <br /> regular order of business. Carried. <br /> <br />Report on Zoning: <br />Chairman Groenwegen gave the report for the recommendations of the <br />Village Board. He reported ordinance had been prepared through the <br />combined sessions of the Planning Board and the Village Board. He <br />stated that two public hearings have been held and attendance was <br /> <br /> <br />
