217 <br /> <br />The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Sept. <br />9th.~ 1965 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those Present: Mayor Furnari~ Tr. Temple, Tr' VanVoorhis~ Tr. Bain~ Tr. <br />Napoleon, Tr. Cheetham, Tr. DiDomizio~ Attorney Pearse and Attorney <br />Lyons. <br /> <br />Minutes of last Regular Village Board Meeting were read by Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham and seconded by Tr. Napoleon to dispense With <br />the reading of the specifications for the new Village dump truck. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon and s~conded by Tr. Bain to dispense with the <br />reading of the Specifications for the new Village Police Car. Carried. <br /> <br />Paragraph on wells was corrected bY Tr. Cheetham to read, test water <br />wells and not test wells. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio and seconded by, Tr. Bain that m~nutes be acc- <br />epted as corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />Petitions: None <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Robert Stein~ reqUesting permission to hook <br />into Village sewer. To be taken up in the regular order of business. <br /> <br />Letter was read from T.O. Tompkins~ park-O-Meter Co.~ resubmitting <br />original bid for the purchase of Parking Meters. To be taken up at <br />the regular order of business. <br /> <br />Letter was read f~om Raymond E' Dangerfield Sr., requesting the re- <br />moVal of a tree in front of his property. Letter turned over to Robert <br />TempleJr. · <br /> <br />Letter was read from Bernard Lomrantz~ asking for the return of the <br />Performance Bond at Brookside Gardens. <br /> <br />Notion bM Tr. NaPoleon and seconded bY Tr. DiDomizio that this request <br />be tabled until project is surveyed by John Berinato. Carriea. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corp., asking for <br />a change in zoning on McKinley St. for the erection of a sub-station. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. NapOleon and seConded b~ Tr. VanVoorhis that this be <br />turned over to'Chairman Groenwegen of the Planning Board for consider <br />ation. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the Children's Aid Society ~ thanking Village for <br />their cooperation for making camping season successful. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from kndrew J, MihanS~ Ohairman of the Board of SUper- <br />visors, Poughkeepsie, N.Y., designating Sept, 17-23~ 196~' as Citizen- <br />ship Day and Constitution Week. Trustees Temple and Bain to attend. <br /> <br /> <br />
