289 <br /> <br />T~e Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on October, <br />14th., 1965, at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Deputy Mayor Temple called meeting to order. <br /> <br />Roll Call: Present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. VanVoOrhis, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. <br />Bain, Tr. Temple, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetham and Attorney Pearse. No one <br />absent. <br /> <br />Minutes of last Regular Village Board Meeting were read by Clerk. <br /> <br />Minutes of a special meeting held on Sept. 15th., 1965, were read by <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />Minutes of a special meeting held on Sept. 28th., 1965, were read by <br />Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Bain and seconded by Tr. VanVoorhis that minutes be-accept- <br />ed as read. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Haubennestel addressed the Board on forms and fees in accordance <br />with duties as building Inspector and the Zoning Ordinance. He reported <br />working on Zoning ordinance with Attorney Lyons and stated'that Mr. <br />Lyons suggested holding up payment to Burdis Ass.~ until ordinance is <br />correct. He reported meeting with Mr. Stein~ in reference to a building <br />permit and discussed the Village's loss of money due to lack of enforce- <br />ment of the Zoning ordinance. He discussed painting the Mesier Homestead <br />and proposed purchasing a new table and chairs for the Board room, if <br />Board was in favor. <br /> <br />Mr. D.A. Sagani addressed the Board seeking permission to erect a tent <br />on the Holiday Recreation Center's property for, primarily, a farmers <br />msrket and special promotions. He reporte~ local farmers would have <br />priority and discussed Benefits of same. He stated promotions would <br />comply with all Village regulations and all standards to be approved <br />by Fire authorities, e wanted to know if permit was required. DisCUssion <br />followed on the pros and cons of this promotion. Mr. Sagani lef~ Liter- <br />ature on these promotions and will be notified of Board's decision after <br />future study. <br /> <br />Mr. HaubenneStel discussed Mr. Iore's request to install a house trailer <br />on his property. He Stated that if Mr. Iore acquired a special permit <br />he would recommend this action tO the Board of Appeals for their approval. <br /> <br />Fire Chief sYnnett addreSsed the Board , reportingattending a special <br />meeting with Trustees Bain and vanVOorhis of the Fire committee. Chief <br />Synnett asked Board to give AttOrney Pearse the authority to draw up a <br />bid for the purchase of equipmem~ for approximately $2500. He reported <br />150 ft. of hose destroyed due to over use. He discussed need for new <br />equipment, including hose and nozzles, and prices involved. Chief Synnett <br />requested siren be put back on water tank on Hillside Ave. He wanted <br />Board to act on these proposed purchases and to inform both'Fire Companies <br />of their decsion. He also reported a ban on the burning of leaves has <br />been executed. <br /> <br />Petitions: None <br /> <br /> <br />
