The Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on <br />March 10,~1965 at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Thos®ipresent: Mmyor Furnari, Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Temple~ <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetham and Att. Pearse. ~ <br /> <br />Minutes of last regular Village Bd. meeting were read by Clerk and par- <br />agraph on salaries for Playground Directors was corrected to read $95.00 <br />per week and not per month. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. VanVoorhis and seconded by Tr. Cheetham that the minutes <br />of the last regular Village Bd. meeting'be accepted as~corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari asked if there was any action to be taken on any resolutions <br />drawn up ~rior to this meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that section 37-11, <br />of the Zoning Ordinance, pertaining to Registered Letters be eliminated. <br />Carried. This to become effective lO days hence. <br /> <br />Petitions: None <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Letter was read from the State Board of Equalization and Assessment eon- <br />corning the 1963 Study of Market Values in the Village. Meeting on this <br />to be held Thursday~ March ll~ 1965 at 9:30 A.M. and it was in agreement <br />with the Bd. that Tr. Bain represent the Village at this meeting. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Art Weinberg concerning his easement and the <br />A&P using same for a sewe~ line. This to be taken up later when A~t. <br />Lyons arrives. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Parsons~ Brinckerhoff & Douglas concerning State <br />and Federal aid for sewage treatment and disposal facilities. Turned <br />over to Tr. VanVoorhis~ Ch. of the Sanitation Comm. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the Town of Wappinger concerning traffic problem <br />at the co~ner of Rt. 9 and New Hackensack Rd. Clerk ordered to write <br />State Traffic Comm. on this problem and enclose copy of the letter from <br />the Town. Mr. Evans added that duo'to building in that area, the install- <br />ation of a traffic device would be helpful. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the Wappinger Playgroup~ Inc,, thanking Village <br />for the installation of "School Signs" on E. Academy St. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Maurice Phillips concerning the application of <br />Dutchess Associate~, Inc. Att. Pearse stated that he advised Mr. Phillips <br />that this matter concerned his client and the other property owners. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Eugene F. Blaisdell, applying for the position <br />of Playground Director. This to be kept on file till word is heard from <br />Mr. Ted Russell. <br /> <br /> <br />
