Adjourned meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on April 15, <br />1965 at 9~OO P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Temple, <br />Tr. Bain. Tr. Napoleon. Att. ?earse and Tr. Cheetham were absent. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on private catering and the conflicts which would <br />arise by closing the dump, such as the removal of bulk and the number of <br />collections. Tr. Napoleon suggested appointing a committee to investi- <br />gate private catering. <br />Tr. VanVoorhis reported on the Joint Sanitation project. He reported <br />legal end incorporated but land site still holding up progress. <br />Tr. VanVoorhis~ Tr. Napoleon, Mr. John Berinato, Mr, Joseph McDonald, <br />and Mr. Charles Miller to serve on a committee investigating private <br />catering. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari distributed pamphlets concerning payment plans for laterals <br />on Liss Rd. Tr. Napoleon suggested holding up action on plan until meet- <br />ing is held with Liss Rd. residents and Engineer. Tr. DiDomizio suggest- <br />ed Village Board check specifications for sewer project and compare same <br />with work done. <br /> <br />Memting with Cresthaven Civic Group and Village Engineer to be held on <br />April 21, 196~ at 7:30 P.M.. Village Board voiced agreement on a three <br />payment plan for laterals. <br /> <br />Mr. Vrooman's request for Village Engineer was discussed. Tr. Napoleon <br />suggested Village consider hiring another Engineer after bi~s are let <br />out on the fourth well. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Bain and seconded by Tr. VanVoorhis that the Village hire <br />an Engineer, at the discretion of the Board, to study the floor section <br />of the S.W. Johnson Engine House. Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Berinato discussed refuse pick-up and reported three day pick-ups <br />are being made due to the break down of truck. <br />Mayor Furnari auggested Village Ordinance concerning Refuse and its <br />containers be published in the newspaper and enforced. <br /> <br />Committee Reports: <br /> <br />Electric Light: Tr. Napoleon reported progress. <br /> <br />Fire Dept.: Tr. Bain reported progress and the purchase of brooms and <br />Indian tanks. He recommended a vote of thanks be given Firemen for ex. <br />cellent job done in containing Monday night's fire. <br />Tr. DiDomizio reported receiving complaints from Firemen on not hearing <br />the whistle when blown. <br /> <br />Ordinance Comm.
