Special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on April <br />21, 1965 at ?:30 P.M. in the Nosier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnarl, Tr. VanVoorhls, Tr. DIDomlzlo, Tr. <br />Napoleon, Tr. Chest ham, Tr. Bain, Tr. Temple and Att. Pearse. <br /> <br />Purpose of the meeting to discuss-the Lies Rd. sewer project. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayward discussed the status of the Lies Rd. project report- <br />ing forced main from pump pit has broken several times and has been <br />repaired, but still has to be ~.fzsf~. <br /> <br />Dlsdusslon followed on the pressure of the pump and Mr. Hayward <br />reported tests haven't been made at its capacity as yet. <br /> <br />Mr. Brlll inquired about the number of leaks in the lime and Mr. <br />Hayward replied Job was done in the winter and their was the poss- <br />ibility of some back fill getting in. Discussion followed on the <br />size of rock for backfill and the use of rock over the pipe. Mr. <br />Hayward stated rock is acceptable on the side of the pipe and a <br />12" rock may be used 12m above the pipe. <br />Concerning the question of specifications being violated, Mr. <br />Hayward reported he hasn't accepted the pine as yet. <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon questioned the installation of the pipe and Mr. Hayward <br />reported he hasn't accepted the pipe as yet. <br /> <br />In answer to a question determining the adequacy of the job, Mr. <br />Hayward reported there~was a possibility of extending the guarantee. <br />He reported rocks haven't caused the bre~ks. <br /> <br />Mr. Welnberg inquired about the cost of the Job exceeding the bond <br />issue and Mr. Hayward replied he hasn't the precise figures with him. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the bond issue and If exceeded would work <br />stop and Att. Pearse reported he didn't believe work would be held <br />up. Mr. Hayward discussed estimation of quantities excelled, such <br />as survey costs, rock excavation and determination ofthe location <br />of the pipe. <br /> <br />Mr. Brevault inquired about the price of laterals being used to com- <br />plete the Job'if money is exceeded and Hr. Hayward reported he dAdnt <br />know but was prepared to ~ive a break down on the laterals for each <br />house. <br /> <br />Mr. Hayward discussed the laterals reporting that out of 40 items <br />put out on bid only 4 items concerned laterals which included $6.00 <br />per yard for rock excavation. He reported laterals were included <br />in the contract. <br /> <br />Discussion followed on the nest of the laterals and the connection of <br />pipe to same. Mr. Hayward rePOrted 76 yards of rock excavated from <br />ork done on the laterals. Mr. Hayward reported on the cost of the <br /> aterals, which included $ <br /> <br /> <br />
