33 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on <br />June 9, 1965, at 7:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. <br />Temple, Tr. Bain, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Cheetham, and Att. McDonald. <br />Att. Pearse absent. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari welcomed groups from the Junior Chamber of Commerce <br />and delegation from Adams St. to the meeting~. <br /> <br />Minutes of last regular Village Board meeting held on May 12, 1965 <br />were read by Clerk. <br />Tr. Napoleon reported his statement concerning wells should read <br />to rebid fourth well in the event other bidders weren't notified. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Nal~leon and seconded by Tr. Bain that the minute~ <br />of the last regular Village Board meeting be accepted as corrected. <br />Carried. <br /> <br />Minutes of speci al meetings of the Village Board held on May 19, <br />May 27, and June~$~.1965 were read by Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. VanVoorhis and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that minutes <br />of special meetings be accepted as read. Carried. <br /> <br />petitions: None <br /> <br />Communications: <br /> <br />Copy of a letter from Mr. John Haubennestel to the Town of Wappinger <br />Planning Board was read concerning site plan approval to the <br />l~appinger Apartments Corp. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />Copy of a letter from Mr. John Haubennestel to the Dutchess Co~ty <br />Planning Bd. was read concerning site plan approval to the <br />Wappingers Apartments CotF. Ordered filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Vincent T. 0liver requesting membershi~ <br />on the Village Planning Bd. <br />Motion by Tr. Bain and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that since Village <br />has a full 5 member Board, this request be tabled and letter order- <br />ed filed. Carried. <br /> <br />LEtter was read from the Dutchess Co,,nty Art Association requesting <br />permission to use the Mesier Park on August 8th., 1965 from 2 to <br />6 P.M. for an Art Show. <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio and seconded by Tr. VanVoorhis that per- <br />mission to the above request be granted. Carried. <br /> <br />Letter was read from Mr. Charles Dodge, American Legion Commander, <br />concerning care of the Veteran's Memorial and' also requesting per- <br />mission to fire cannon on July 5, 1965, at flag rais±ng ceremonies <br />at the Legion. <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr. DiDomizio, that since <br />Veteran's Memorial is p~rt of the park, Village will maintain same. <br />Carried. <br />One voting against. <br /> <br /> <br />
