183 <br /> <br />Special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />Feb. 23, 1966, at ?:30 P.M. in the Mesier Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari~ Tr. DiDomizio, Tr. Oheetham, Tr. Napoleon <br />and Att. MacDonald. <br />Tr. Temple, ~r. VanVoorhis and Tr. Bain absent. <br /> <br />Purpose of the meeting to discuss differen~ aspects in purchasing the <br />WapPingersLake'and to review Mr. chazen's Budgetary estimate on re- <br />pair to the dam. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari discussed the two methods of repairs to dam, proposed by <br />Mr. Chazen at the last regular Village Board meeting. <br /> <br />Att. MacDonald reported contract ~o purchase the lake is subject to <br />legalities. <br /> <br />He discussedthe following possibilities: <br />1' Possbili~y of annexinglake from the two townships i~ lies in, and <br />this Would haVe to be done after purchase. <br />2, VillagecOUld P~chase the lake for recreational purposed~ up to <br />three miles withOu~e~tlon.
