287 <br /> <br />The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on March 9~ 1966 at <br />7t30 P~M.in the Mesier' Homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. DiDomizio~ TreBain~ Tr. Cheetham, Tr. Napoleon~ <br />and Att. MacDonald. <br />Tr. VanVoorhis & Tr, Temple absent due to illness~ <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr. Cheetham that the reading of the minutes <br />of the last regular Village Board me~t~ng held on Feb. 9~ 1966, be dispensed with, <br />as each Board member has a copy of same. Carried. <br /> <br />Proper spelling of lawyer concerning cabled television shoula be Mr. Quartararo. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that minutes of last regular <br />Village Board meeting be accepted as corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />Minutes of special meetings of the Village Board of Trustees held on'Feb. 18, 23, <br />and March 2, 1966 were read by Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Cheetham and seconded by Tr~ Napoleon that minutes of t~e above <br />speci,al meetings be accepted as eead. Carried. <br /> <br />Mayor Furnari discussed topics to be taken up at meeting betwee~ Congressmen and <br />local officials concerning Federal Aid, to be held March 1.2, 1966~ <br /> <br />Petitions: None. <br /> <br />Cosmmnications: <br /> <br />Tentative Equali$,ation Rate df 58 received from State Board of Equalization and <br />Assessment. Filed. <br /> <br />Letter was read from the VilLage Bd. pf Appeals recommeHding the limiting building <br />of apartments in the Village~ ' <br />Cop~ of letter to be turned over to Asst. Village Attorney Ian MacDonald. <br /> <br />-Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr, Cheetham that suggestion from the Appeal <br /> Bd. be turned over to Planning Bd. for their reco~mendatioHs and consideration. Carried <br /> <br />~otion by Tr. Bain and seconded by Tr. Napoleon that the regular order of business be <br />dispensed with.Carried. <br /> <br />Mr. Groenwegen addressed the Board concerning insurance, should the Village purchase <br />the lake, and discussed estimates. <br />He reported, after surveying othe~ Villages, that $20~.~0 per year should cover in- <br />surancd for the lake:, subject to~ approval. <br />Att. MacDonald inquirSd as tothis rate including the dam ~nd Mr~ Greenwe~en reported <br />it did. <br />Mr. Groenwegen suggested raising acCXdental coverage from' the present 200-500 thousand <br />dollars to one-half~ million dollars. <br />Mayor Furnari thanked Mr. Groenwegen for his repbrt. <br /> <br /> <br />
