293 <br /> <br />Specialmeeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, M~rch 30, 1966, <br />at 7'.30 PM in the Mesier homestead. <br /> <br />Those present: Mayor Furnari, Tr. D~Domizio, Tr. Bain, Tr. Napoleon and Att. ~acDonald. <br />Mr. DiMarco, Water Comm., present also. <br /> <br />Those a~sent: Tr. VanVoorhis, Tr. Temple and Tr. Cheetham. <br /> <br />Purpose of the meeting to finalize purchase of the water storeage tanks (two( from <br />B,N. & A. Realty~ Corp. Set dates for Public Hearings on the tentative Village budget <br />and franchizing cabled television. <br /> <br />Att. MacDonald reported all taxes paid by B.N. & A. Realty Corp. & Title and Insur- <br />ance up to date. <br /> <br />Due to this transfer of tanks, Mr. Kaynor requested a right of way to elevated tank. <br /> <br />Att~ MacDonald displayed map showing tanks and discussion followed on same. <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon recommended limiting size of Industrial Acreage. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr. Bain authorizing Mayor Furnari to con- <br />sumate the proposed purchase of the two water storeage tanks and premises from B.N. & A. <br />Realty Corp., contingent upon determination by the Village attorneys, that the right <br />of way, requested by Mr. Kaynor, as part of the consideration, over lands now owned by <br />the Village and described in Liber 595 of Deeds at page 227, Dutchess County Clerk's <br />Office, discloses nothing detrimental to the interest of the Village. Motion carrieA. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio and seconded by Tr. Bain that a Public Hearing be held on the <br />Tentative Village budget on April 15, 1966 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM in the Mesier <br />Homestead, and the Clerk be directed to publish notice for same in the official <br />Village newspaper. Carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio and seconded by Tr. Bain authorizing Mr. Haubennestel to pur- <br />chase a Polaroid Camera, priced at $142.83, for the various Village departments, and <br />a set of rules and regulations be established to determine its storeage and use. Carried. <br /> <br />Att. Lyons addressed the Board concerning suits against the Village, causing harrass- <br />ment and expenditures, over the past year and one-half, and suggested giving full <br />publicity of the Court's decision, on the suit Just terminated. Mayor Furnari to handle <br />salve e <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon inquired as to the posSibility of acquiring County wide franchise for cabled <br />television. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon and seconded by Tr. DiDomizio, that a Public Hearing be held on <br />April 20, 1966, at'7:30 PM, in the ~m~iT~ Ga~ner Engine. Co., on a petition from <br />Time Life Broadcasting, Inc. applyihg for a franchise to install and operate cabled <br />television and Clerk directed to publish notice of same in official Village newspaper. <br />Carried. <br /> <br /> <br />
