165 <br /> <br /> The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Mesier <br />Homestead on Tuesday April 5,1960 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br /> Present- Mayor McCloskey, Trustee's Reilly~ Gallucci, Silvestri <br /> Temple, Sanfilippo, Canale, Treas. McDonald, and Prof. <br /> Pearse for Atty. Schofield. <br /> <br /> The meeting was called to order and the minutes of the last regular <br /> meeting were read. Motion by Trustee Silvestri~ seconded by Trustee Sanfillpr <br /> that the minutes be accepted as read. carried. <br /> Comm. <br /> # ~907 Letter from the Wapp. Falls Chamber of Commerce, informing <br /> the Mayor that they had appointed a Committee to meet with the <br /> Board to discuss the pros and cons of a Village Planning ~oard. <br /> Motion by Trustee Sanfilippo, seconded by Trustee Gallucci, that <br /> the meeting be held on Wednesday April 2Oth at 8 P.M. was carried. <br /> The Clerk was to send cards. <br /> #4908 Report of Street Lighting from Cemtrai Hudson Gas & Elec. for <br /> March 1960 was ordered filed. <br /> #W909 Letter from Mr. Vincent Grosso, on damage done to his house <br /> due to the sewer Ext. project~ was turned over to our Atty. <br /> to be $~ given to the Contractor. <br /> #4910 Letter from Mr. Ed Hinzmann, Thanking the Board for making <br /> play streets for sliegh riding, was ordered filed. <br /> #4911 Police Justice Report for month of March 1960, for the sum of <br /> $283.00 on motion of Trustee Sanfillppo, seconded by Trustee <br /> Gallucci, was accepted as read. carried. <br /> Motion by Trustee Gallucct~ seconded by Trustee Stlvestrt to <br /> dispence with the regular order of business was carried. <br /> <br /> Two members from the group wanting to start a Boat Club <br /> asked the Board if they had reached any ~ixim~ agreement <br /> on their proposed club. After m~ some discussion on this <br /> matter the board told them that they would meet with the <br /> interested parties on Wed. april 2Oth at 9 P.M., and at that <br /> time they hoped to be able to settle this matter. <br /> D. Napolean~ spoke for the Fire Police~ for need of Raincoats <br /> requested that this item be considered in the budget. This was <br /> given to the Fire Comm. Chairman to be considered in the <br /> fire Dept. Budget. <br /> Crest Haven Home Civic Club, spoke on Sewer for Liss Rd. <br /> after discussion by board and reresentation from club, this <br /> matter was to be considered at the Budget meeting. <br /> Wapp. Falls Batt. of Fleet Cadets~ Requesting fire house <br /> for practice~for Drum corp. Motion by Trustee Reilly <br /> seconded By Trustee Sanfilippo, that the Drum Corp. be given <br /> space in the back room of the Mesier Homestead to store their <br /> equipment, and to use park for practlcees, carrie~. <br /> Mr. Phil Guiliano~ Maple Shade Dev., asked about the drain <br /> on his property, which was carting off water from streets from <br /> Village, and ~eed for storm sewers on South Ave. in front of <br /> his property. Clerk was to get in touch with State Highway <br /> Dept. , to have some one sent down from the ~ept. to settle <br /> this matter. <br /> Dr. Abbrussi, on behalf of Amblance service for the Village <br /> After discussion, the Board asked Dr. Abbrussi to haVe the <br /> Sloper Wilens Amb. Service, send the Bbard a letter~ an8 <br /> on receiving the letter they would than bring the mat~r <br /> <br /> before the Board again. <br /> <br /> <br />
