The regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held at the Mesier Homestead on Tuesday June 7,1960 at 7:30 P.M. 185 Present- Mayor McCloskey~ Trustees Gallucci~ Silvestri, Canale Sanfilippo, Tr~as Mcdonald, Atty ~chofield, ~nd Prof. Pear~e Absent- Trustees Beilly, Temple. The meeting was called to order and the minutes of the last regular, and special meetings were read. Motion by trustee Gallucci, seconded by Trustee Silvestri, that the minutes be accepted as read was carried. Motion by Trustee Canale, seconded by Trustee Sanfilippo to dispence with the regular order of business was carried. The Supt. of Oak Park asked what was going to be done to the streets and side walks in Oak Park as they were in need of repair. The clerk them read a letter on this matter frOm the onwer Mr. Robert Englander. After discussion on this matter, The Atty. was to check and find out if the Village accepted the sidewalks when they acceptec the streets, and was to report back to the board. Return to the regular order of Business. Comm. Letter from the New York State Youth Commission asking assistance on picking girl and boy for the Gov. Rockefeller , Medal for Oervice. Order to Table an~ File. Letter from the Dept. of Commerce on present Village Census the count was total ~,~51. ~his letter was ordered filed. Letter from Layne-New York Co. , final estimate on ~ell, was ordered filed . Letter from Wm. T. Garner Eng. Co. on certificates for 5 and l0 year members, The Clerk to notify the Sec. of the co. that certificates are no longer given out. File letter Letter from the Dutchess County Dept. of Health, r~questing use of the Village rooms for a Baby Clinic every third ~hursday of month. Motion by Trustee Silvestri seconded by Trustee Gallucci permission was granted to the Dept., carried. Letters from Fraser and Assoc. on the new well, wmm~x were ordered file~ Letter from the New York Boar8 of Underwritters on well, was ordered filed. Letter from Swift Photo Print Service on making of blueprints ,etc. was ordered filed. Letter 2rom ~rest Haven Civic ~ssoc., thanking board for action on sewer survey, was ordered filed. Letter from Mrs. Deeb. , on o~nership on property next to their house. Clerk to have Mrs Deeb, contact the Treas. for this information, letter to be filed. Copy of proposed budget of Water Dept. for 1960-61, was ordered filed. t on excavations by Central Hudson Gas & Elec. ~o. on Let er ~ sidewalks and streets in Village. Motion by rustee Sanfilippo, the ~a or to sign the seconded by Trustee Canale, to authorize Y contract on behalf of the ~illage., carried. May Police Justice report for the month of ~ ~960 for the sum of $235.00, on Motion of Trustee Canale, seconded by Truste · sanfilippo, was accepted as read., carried.
