Special meeting of The Millage ~oard of Trustees was held at the <br />MesierHomestead at 7:30 P.M. on July 26,1960. <br /> <br />198 <br /> <br />Present:- Mayor McCloskey, Trustees- Reilly~ Galluccl, Temple, <br />Sanfilippo, Canale. ~'lso Prof. Pearse for tty. Schofield, <br /> <br />Absent: Trustee Silvestri. <br /> <br /> This meeting was called to award the bid for the Oiling <br />and chipping of the Village Otreets, as per bid opening of July <br />20,1960. <br /> <br />Bids were as follows- <br /> <br />R.J.Marshall, Inc. Oil and ~hipping. $ ~ per sq. yd. <br /> primming per sq. yd. <br /> <br />Spoor Easher ~o. <br /> <br />Oil and Chipping $ .209 per sq. yd. <br /> primming .$18 per sq. yd. <br /> <br /> Motion by Trustee Reill~, seconded hz Trustee Temple to award <br />the bid to the low bidder , poor Lasher 4o. was carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Sanfilippo, seconded b~ Trustee Gallucci~ that the <br />Oil and Chipping Job was not to exceed $10,000. was carried. <br /> <br /> The Mayor then spoke on the question of the new Police Radio. <br />He gave them two estimates that he had received. Also informed <br />the Ooard that the F.C.C.~ t~rough our service man had informed <br />him that all radio not on narrow band, had to be off the air as <br /> of August 1,1960. <br /> The estimates were - Mr. ~inn- $995.00 <br /> Mr. Shweado 987.00 <br /> <br /> The Mayor appointed a Comm. of Trustee Canale~ Sanfilippo, and <br /> Temple to see the two man, and find out more information on <br /> the system they ha~ given estimates on also about serviceto <br /> these systems. <br /> A motion by Trustee Rei~ly, seconded by Trustee Gallucci, <br /> giving power to the above Comm. to settle this matter. <br /> After discussion by Trustee Canale, it was decided that the <br /> Comm. would report back at the next meeting their findings on <br /> the above matter. Trustees Reilly and Gallucci wit~m~lmEx withdraw <br /> their motion. <br /> <br /> Clerk ~eit reported that the guard rail n~eded up in <br /> street near St. Marys Church would cost $1.W$ per foot. <br /> <br /> Motion by Trustee Gallucci, seconded ~y Trustee Sanfillppo <br />to purchase the ~0 feet of guard rail needed for the job. <br /> and also to get two end pieces& carried. <br /> <br /> There being no further business before the board on motion <br />of rus~e~ Reilly, seconded by Trustee Canale, the meeting was adjourned. <br /> <br /> <br />
