Be It Ordained by the ~oard of Trustees of the' Village of Wappingers Falls, New York, as felleesz Section 1 It is the purpose ef this resolutl~ to regulate house trailers within the Village ef Wappingere Falls, and the Board of Trustees does hereby declare that the resolution is adoptedvin the interest of public health and safety ef the inhabitants of the illage of Wappingers Falls; further to prevent nuisances and generally to protect the welfare of the public. Section 2 The term "House Trailers' as used in this resolution shall be defined as any vehicle used, designed for use, or capable of being used as sleeping or living quarters, whether propelled by its m cwo ~e~er or by the power of another vehicle to' which it may be attached Section 3 It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or gorporation to use any land located within the boundaries ef the 'illage of Yappingers Falls as a trailer parl er place for the heu~ing or ~eeping trailers as defined in this ordinance. Section ~ It shall be unlawful for any person, firm er corporation to use a House Trailer as a habitation in the ~illage ef Wapplngers Falls without having first secured a license therefor from the ¥illage:~lerk. Semites ~ Notwithstandl~any ~ther Provisienef this resolution ne person shall detach any ~euse ~railer from its to~ing vehicle and permit the same to remain standing in a~y public street er place. Section 6 Ne license for such use of a House Trailer shall be issued unless the House Trailer, for which such license is sought, shall be provided with adequate water closets, properly ~ighted and ventilated and connected with the public water system and illage sanitary sewer. Section? Application for such license shall be made to the Village Clerk upon forms prescribed by him. . Section 8 The license fee shall be seventy five $?5.00 for each house trailer for the license year. The license year shall begin on the first day ef May of each year and the Iic~se fee ~ay be ' payable in two (2)equql installment~ of thirty seven and ~0/100 ~$37.50) dollars each due and payable by the licensee en the first day of May and November ef each year.
