<br /> The regular meeting of the Village Board was:held on Tuesday
<br />March ?,1961 at ?:30 P.M. at the Mesier Homestead.
<br /> Those present- Mayor McCloskey, Trustees, Reilly, Gallucci,
<br />Silvestri, Temple, Sanfilippo, Canal®. Treas. McDonaid, Atty. Schofield.

<br /> The meeting was called to order by MaYor McCloakey, and the minutes of
<br />the last re~lar meeting were read, on motion of Trustee Reilly, seconded
<br />by TrUstee ilvestri, the minutes were accepted as read. carried.
<br /> .,A motion by Trustee Reilly~seconded by Trustee GaIlucci,to dispence
<br />with the regular order of business was carried.
<br /> Mr. Guliano, told the board that he was ready to put in the sewer
<br />line in his delove~pment, the Mayor and Board asked him to wait until
<br />they asked the Eng. about the size of pipe to be used. Mr. ~uliano,
<br />had planned to use a 6" pipe, and the board felt that the Eng. had
<br />suggested 8" . Mr. Guliano agreed to wait a day or so until he heard
<br />from the Mayor.

<br /> Letter from E. Nenni, Elm St. on light needed in front of their
<br />house. This matter to be taking care of at the lighting SUrvey.
<br /> Letter from the Wapp. So. Dut. News , on printing legal ~atters
<br />with no charge. This ~t~ letter was ordered filed.

<br /> Letter from S.W. JohnsoncEng. Co., asking the b~ards approval
<br />on a new member, Leo Lowney, linton St., on motionof Trustee Silvestri,
<br /> seconded by Trustee Oallucci, the applicant was approved, carried.
<br /> Letter from the Beasley AgencyInc. on Village insurance coverage,
<br /> this matter to be taking care of by the. Misc. Comm.
<br /> Letter from the State Boardof Equalization and Assessment,on
<br /> a meeting with Village on Wed. March 22,1961, Assessor, and Board
<br /> members to attend. Clerk to notify them.
<br /> Monthy report from the Dept. of Water Supply for month of
<br /> Feb. 1961,on motion of Trustee Temple, seconded by TrusteeSilvestri~
<br /> the report was accepted as read. carried.
<br /> Report from the Police JuStice for the month of Feb. 1961 for
<br /> the sum $6~.00 on motion of Trustee Gallucci, seconded by Trustee
<br /> Sanfilippa, was accepted as read. carried.
<br /> Report from Central Hudson Gas &Elec. on Credit Balance of
<br /> Village was ordered filed.
<br /> Letter from Mr. Meier of South Ave., on sewer condition due
<br /> to break on Franklindale Ave. After some dicussion by the Beard
<br /> Mr. Meier, The board decided to see that the sewer ord. they had
<br /> past, is enforced to due away with the condition~ causing trouble
<br /> such as happened on Franklindale Ave.
<br /> Letter ia answer to the Mayors later to Gov. Rockefeller, on
<br /> help to the Village on the unusual snow rem~v&l cost. was ordered
<br /> filed.
<br /> A second letter from Gov. Rockefellers Orifice, also on the
<br /> snow removal costs, was ordered filed.
<br /> Letter from the New York State Conference of Mayors, on dues
<br /> for year was ordered filed.

<br /> Elec Light., progress. Comm. to check new lighting project,
<br />see that lights needing cleaning are taking care of, and te see
<br />where new lights are needed.
