The ~egular meeting o~ the Village Board was held on Tuesday

<br /> ~he meeting was called to order by Mayor ~Mc~loskey, and the
<br />minutes of the last regular meeting were read, on motion of Trustee
<br />Temple, seconded by Trustee Silvestri, the minutes were accepted as read
<br />carried.
<br /> A motion by Trustee Silvestri, seconded by Trustee Canale to
<br />dispence with the regular order of business was carried.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Guliano, ~old board that he had completed the sewer pipe
<br />line in his property, and that he had used 8" pipe as asked.
<br /> He also told board that he felt that ~he was being mistreated on
<br /> the Water pipe project in his property, the board informed him,
<br /> that this was a Water Board problem, and that they were not able
<br /> to help him in this matter. He also told board that he felt he should
<br /> be reinbursed in some wayon the sewer trunk line in his property
<br /> as the help he was.told he would get from the Village, was not there.
<br /> ,The Board said they would look into this matter.
<br /> Mr. Brown, asked the board if they could go into
<br /> $1000 as their share to the Library fund instead of the~600, they
<br /> put in last year. The Board told Mr. Brown that they would consider
<br /> this matter at their Budget meeting.
<br /> The Fire Cheif, gave the Board theProposed budget of the
<br /> fireDept., for the year 1961-62, the amount $~521.00, the board
<br /> told the Cheif that they would also consider this at their budget-
<br /> meetin~e- Mayor ,told the board that the Recreation Comm. had
<br /> giving him a proposed budget of about $10,000. This would be
<br /> needed to complete new recreation feild, and for equipment, etc.
<br /> Mr. Edwin hinzmann, spoke for the comm. for Mermorial Day
<br /> parade, and asked if the same amount of money could be appreated
<br /> Board said they would look into this matter.
<br />
<br /> A motion by Trustee Canale ,seconded by Trustee Reilly, to return
<br /> to the regular order of business was carried.
<br />
<br /> Letter from the P.B.A., asking permission to use Ballfield,
<br /> from Apr. 8, to about July 10th., on motion of Trustee Temple,
<br /> seconded by Trustee Silvestri, permission was granted, carried
<br /> Letter from Sloper-Willen Amblance Service, thanking the Vill
<br /> for use of ambiance, while their's was laid up, was ordered filed.
<br /> Letter from Dr. Engelman ,on tree on his~Property,
<br /> at East Academy St. , was turned over to Highway Ohair~an
<br /> Letter from S.W. Johnson Eng. Co. on new members,
<br /> Steven Fasciani, Paul ~ampola, J?~h~ Si~o~e~_A~[ C~11del
<br /> ~on motion of Trustee ~ilvestri, seconoec ~y -~=~e itzp tri k
<br /> the approval of the board was granted, carried.
<br /> Letter from Sayers Sales Corp. on new Ambiance, was
<br /> ordered filed.
<br /> Police Justice report for the month of March 1961, for
<br /> the Sum of $360.00, on motion of Trustee Temple, seconded by
<br /> Trustee Canale, that the report be accepted as read. carried.
<br /> Report from Central Hudson Gas &Elec Co. on credit
<br /> balance on Street lighting in Village was ordered filed.
