<br /> The regular meeting of the Village Board was held at the Mesier
<br />Homestead on Oct. 3,1961 at 7:30 P.M.

<br />Temple, Fitzpatrick, Canal~, Treas. MCDonald, Atty. Schofteld.

<br /> The minuses of the last regular, continued, and Special meetings
<br />were read, a motion by trustee Silvestri, seconded by Trustee Temple,
<br />that the minutes of the regular, continued and Special meetings,
<br />be accepted as read was carried.
<br />
<br /> A motion by Trustee Silvestri, seconded by Trustee Canals,
<br />to dispence with the regular order of business was carried.
<br />
<br /> Mr. Tadaro, Clapp Ave. ,Village, approched board on giving
<br />him Water and sewer to his new home on ~lapp ~ve. The board told him that he would have to go th the WaterBoard for the water.
<br /> On sewer, this matter was turned over to the Supt. of Public works,
<br /> he is to contact the Engineer, and find out the best way to place
<br /> the sewer line., He is to report back to the board.
<br /> Mr. Silvestri, spoke to the board on the reorganization the
<br /> Civilian Defense Unit in the Village, He wanted reconition of the
<br /> Village Board. The Mayor and the Board, asked Mr. Silvestri, to
<br /> furnish them with more information on this unit, and th~n they
<br /> could give him his answer.
<br /> Mr. Guliano, Maple Shades Delv. in Village, told the Board that
<br /> he was ready to put in ~e road, and wanted the specs, for the
<br /> rood bed. in writing. The Supt. of Public ~orks, was to take care
<br /> of this matter.
<br /> Mr. Maier, of °outh Ave , handed the Clerk a letter to be put
<br /> on file on the problem of the curb in front of his property on
<br /> South Ave. The Clerk was ordered to write to the State Highway
<br /> Dept. Amotion by T ustee Silvsetri, seconded by Trustee VanV°orhis
<br /> to this effect was carried.
<br /> A motion by Trus$eeCanale, seconded by Trustee VanVoorhis to
<br /> return to the regular order of business was carried.

<br /> Letter from the N.Y. State Thruway Authority, on floodlights
<br /> was ordered filed.
<br /> Letter from Mrs. DeMarco ,Market St. Vil lags, on sidewalk
<br /> repair,was turned over to the Highway Comm.
<br /> Letter from Mr. DiZtllo, DeLavergne Ave, Village, on
<br /> placing of sign, was ordered filed.
<br /> Letter from Central ~dson, on person to contact in case
<br /> of an emergency, was ordered filed, copy to go to Police Dept.
<br /> Letter from the Heritage Corp. on Holland Apts., after
<br /> reading this letter, the Mayor asked the Board for a roll call
<br /> vote on going on with, or stoping negoutioation ,on giving
<br /> sewer and water to this delv. The board voted unaminous
<br /> against continuing negotiations.
<br /> Letter fro~ Central Hudson , giving credit Balace on
<br /> Street lighting, was ordered filed.
<br /> PoliceSustice report for the month of Sept, 1961 for
<br />the sum of $172.50, on motion of trustee Fitzpatrick, seconded
<br /> by Trustee Temple was accepted as read and carreied.
