<br /> The.minutes of the last regular meeting were read, ~rd on
<br /> motion of Trustee VanVoorhis ,seconded by Trustee Silvestrl
<br /> the minutes were accepted as x~aR corrected, all voting fo
<br /> none against.

<br /> A letter from the Wappingers Chamber of Commerce
<br />askln~ ~or a meeting with t~e board, to discuss parking
<br /> meters in Village business setion, The ~yor after some
<br /> discussion on this subject called a Special meeting for
<br /> ~y 8,1962 at 8:30 P.M.
<br /> A letter from Edwin Hinzmann, on his suspension
<br /> as Assistant Chief, and wanting the Board to lift the
<br /> suspension, after some discussion by the Board on this mat
<br /> a motion was made by Trustee Cheetham, seconded by Trustee
<br /> Canale, that the Chief and Assistant Chief, resoulve thei~
<br /> differences~ in this matter, or the Board would act, to
<br /> dismiss them both. carried.
<br /> A letter from the W. T. Garner Engine Co. No.1,
<br /> o~ requesting °ermiss~on for a parade and Bazzar, August
<br /> 16,1?,lSth. A~motion by Trustee Van¥oorhis, seconded by
<br /> Trustee Stlvestri to grant permission, was carried.
<br /> A Garner-Gram, from the Garner Eng. Co. on their
<br /> officers for the year, for board approval,
<br /> Captain, Robert Anderson, let Lt., Calvin Lawranc,
<br /> 2nd Lt., Joseph Gardella, Eng. Roy Watson
<br /> Asst. Eng., James Delsney, Cust./Steward- Robert
<br /> Temple Sr.
<br /> The Board approved the above men on a motion by
<br /> Trustee Canale, seconded by Trustee VanVoorhis and
<br /> carried.
<br /> A letter from the S.W. Johnson Co. No2, on thedr
<br /> officers fnn'the year~ asking the boards aporoval.
<br /> This was tabled until the board could discuss the
<br /> officers elected in a exeuctiv~
<br /> to new me~nbe~s ~.~er~ approved by the board, Ed. Chase
<br /> and John Chase, 128 West Main
<br /> A letter from the Village Water Dept. with a
<br /> list of Consumer's unpaid Water Bills, the amot~nt of
<br /> $ 3228.W0 to be applied on the 1962 tax roll.
<br /> Motion th accept report and place the unpaid water
<br /> ~lls, on ~n. ~ax roll was made ~y .~rus~.eVanVoorh~s,
<br /> seconded by frustee Silvestri, and carried.
<br /> Police Justice report, for the month of April
<br /> 1962, for the amount of $ ~7.00 was accepted on motion
<br /> of Trustee Silvestri, seconded by Trustee Temple, and
<br /> carried.
<br /> A letter from the New York State Conference of
<br /> Mayors for a copy of the Village Budget, Clerk ordered
<br /> to file letter and send copy of V~llage Budget.
<br /> A letter from Mr. F.B. Jankowski, Jr., Chairman
<br /> of the Recreation Commission, on the summer program
<br /> etc. after bearing the letter the board voted
<br />
