' The Regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Mes~Q: <br />Homestead on Wednesday Evening February. 6th. I946 at 7;3© P.M. <br /> <br />Those present T~ustee Paggi,Riley, Temple, Kane, Berinato,Terwillig~r, <br />Mayor ~cCafferty and Atty. Schofield. Absent. Treas.~LeRoy. <br /> <br />Meeting c~lled to order. Roll call. T~e minutes of the previous regular <br />meeting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee Pagg <br />the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br /> $2563. Police Justice Beg~ report for the month of January was read announ- <br />cing that the sum of $ 35.00 collected in fines were forward to State Dept. <br /> as to comply with the new law. Notion Trustee Temple and seconded by <br /> Trustee Riley the report be accepted as read. <br /> <br />$ 2564. A communication was reap from the W.T.Garner Eng. Co.#I requesting <br />a five years exemption certificate for James Corona and a life roll certif- <br /> icate for Chas. A. Demers. Also announcing that Floyd J. Hornbeck was <br /> elected to active memberships. Motion by Trustee Berinato and seconded by <br /> Trustee PaEgi the certificates be granted and the member confirmed. <br /> <br />$2565. A Co~m~un~catio~ was read from the S.~.Johnson Eng. 0o.~2 announcing <br />that Louis J. Benedetto was elected to active membership also requesting a <br />five years exemption certificate for Joe. Rogers,Jr. Jos. A.Crane,Wm. Lyons <br />and Nicholas Di Paola. <br /> <br />$2566. A communication was read from the S.W.Johnson Eng. Co.#2 requesting <br />a five years exemption certificates for Louis Poelucoi,Jr. Alexander Benedet4 <br />to, Jr. and Horace Sylvester and a life roll oertifioat.e for Marlo Paolilli <br /> <br />~ ~otion by Trustee Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi the member be confirm. <br /> ed and the certificates granted. <br /> <br />$ 2567, A communication was read from the Central School board of Eduba'tion <br />requesting the Village Board to consider a reduction on the ee~er rental <br />charge. The same was discussed by the members of the Board. A motion was <br />offered by Trustee~ Kane and seconded by Trustee Berinato that the clerk be <br />directed to forward a reply to the Board of Education advising them that <br /> due to our obligations we are unable to make any reduction on the sewer <br /> rental charge. <br /> <br />$ 2568. Fire Insurance policy on the ~Jesier H~mestead was received from <br />Agent H.J. Walker for renewal. TrUstee Pa~i suggested that amount should be <br />increased on this policy as the sum o~f $ 2~O0.OO was to small amount ~o be <br />carried on the building. Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded By Trustee <br />Kane the Fire insurance policy on the Eesier Homestead be increased to the <br />sum of $ L~OOO.O0 and the clerk be directed to notify Mr. Walker and the bill <br />received at this meeting be ordered paid. <br /> <br />$2569. The lis.bility and Property damage policy was received for renewal on <br /> the F.W.D. and the G.M.C. Trucks from Agent E.J.Buok. Atty. Sohofield <br />advised the board that these policies should be increased to 25 and 50,000 <br />liability the same as the other trucks.~otion by Trustee Riley and seconded <br />by Trustee Paggi the clerk be directed to notify Agent E.J.Buck to increase <br /> the amount f6~ liability on the F.W.D. amd G.~.C. trucks and the bill re- <br /> ceived at this meeting be ordered paid. <br /> <br />$ 2570. Liability and property damage policy on the Garner Fire Apparatus <br />was received for renewal, fro~. Agent. ~.J.Buck.? <br /> <br /> <br />
