95 The regular meeting of the BOard of Trustees was held at the Mealer Home- stead on Wednesday Evening, July 3rd.~ I9~, at 7;30 P.M. Those present; Trustee paggi, Riley, Temple, Xane, Berinato,Terwilliger, ~ayor McCafferty,Tre&s. LeRoy & Atty. Schofield. I Meeting called to order. Roll_'~all. The minutes of the previous regular and special meeting were read. Upon motion by Trustee Xane and seconded by Trustee Paggi the minutes stand adopted as read. ~ 2672', PoliCe Justi°~e Begs report for the month of June w~s read announc- ing that the sum of ~ 2?9.00 collected in fines & Bonds were sent to the St&re Dept. _as to eom_ply with the new law. Motion by Trustee Paggi a~d seconded b7 Trustee Terwilliger the report be accepted =t~1~67:~, Health 0ffioer .Dr. O'Brien submitted the fOlloWing report for the imonth of June. announcing that their were considerable a~ount of illness for the month of June. There was one case of acamlet fever and in same fam- ily four others cases of membraneou~ sore throat but no rash or sD.toms di&g~osablo as scarlet fever. There were quite a number of sore throa~s laround the village some locked like diptheria but swab ta~en a~4 examined did not report as diptheria. Two other physicians in tho village had similar cases even giving diptheria antitoxin to the case. None of the cases report same back aa dipthoria. Boo&use of the illness of the Health officer himeel: and illness in tho immediate family the health officer wa8 unable to attend the annual conference of health officers at Saratoga Spring8 June 25 & 275h However your Health officer made reservation for hotel and paid a deposit of $ 5.00 and I wa including this in the expense on my bill.
