119 <br /> ~ A special meeting of the Board of Trustees was held at the Police Station <br />On Friday Evening, October ISth, I9~ at 8 P.M. <br /> <br /> Those present; Trustee Pag~l, Riley, Kane,Berinato,Terwilliger,Acti~ Mayor <br />Temple, Atty. $chofield and Treas. LeRoy. Absent; Mayor. Helen McCaf£erty. <br /> <br />~Me~$$~ called to order. Acting Mayor Temple announced the object of the <br />meeting was for the purpose to act on the.question of purchasing the drain <br />pipe f~om the U.S. Government and any other business that should come he- <br />,fore this meeting. , <br /> <br />Motion was offered by Trustee Paggi and seconded by Trustee Btrinato the <br />Village purchase ICC0 feet of the Corrugated drain pipe size 36 inch at <br />the price of $ 1.53 per ft. as offered by the U.S. Govermme~t. <br /> <br />Acting Mayor Temple reported that some bids for hauling of the pipe from <br />Guildeland .Center was received as followed. <br /> <br />Cuchelo Bros. bid $ 75.OO a load at an average of three loads $ 225.00 <br /> <br />Prudential Truck Co. of Beacon submitted a bid at $ 90.00 per load at <br />average of 2 loads $ I~O.OO <br /> <br />Lupperell~ Truck Co. w~s also interested in submitting a bid but he <br />could not be reached by phone. <br /> <br /> Acting ~ayor Temple announced that Mr. Harman of the Central Hudson G & E <br />Corp. was present to give details on the changing over of the lights on <br />the Stone Bridge. Mr. Hannah remarked that the village could do away with <br />the four lights on the bridge and install two of the latest type mercury <br />vapor lights which will improve the lighting ICC per cent. The only extra <br />cost of these lights would be the fixtures which the village would have <br />pay for. Mr. Hannah suggeste& that before the Board takes any, action on <br />the changing of the lights he would like to make appointment with some <br />members of the BOard to go with him some night up to Arlington to see the <br />mercury vapor lights. Mr. Hannah remarked that if the change ia made on <br />the bridge lights the ornamental post will be installed at the curb of <br /> the walk as the old fixtures cannot be used for this type of light. <br /> <br /> Motion by Trustee Paggi and seconded by Trustee Kane the light No.2 on <br />Givens Ave. be changed ~rom ICC C.P. to 250 C.P. by the Central Hudson <br />G & E Corp. <br /> <br />No further business upon motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee <br />Behinato the meeting adjourn. <br /> <br />Joe.
