MoCaf~'erty. <br /> <br /> Meeting called to order by Acting Mayor Temple. ROll call. The minutes of <br /> the previous regular and special meeting were read. Upon motion by Truste <br />Kane and seconded by Trustee Berinato the minutes stan~ adopted as read. <br /> <br /># 27~S. Police Justice Beg~ report for the month of December was re~d ann- <br />ounolng that the sum of $~ ~I.OO collected in fines and bonds was sent to <br />the State Dept. as to complN with the law. Motion by Trustee Terwilliger <br />and seconded by Trustee Pag~i the report be accepted as read. <br /> <br />$ 27~9. A communication was read from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.#2 requesting~ <br />a five years exemption certificate for Roger Capanno,Frank Lattanzio,Gabrie <br />Trabucco,Jr. and Achilles Napoleon,Jr. also requesti~ a life roll exemp- <br />tion certificate for Carmine Galluchi and John Beahan, Jr. Motion by Truste~ <br />Riley and seconded by Trustee Paggi the certificates be granted. <br /> <br />$ 2750. A communication was read from the W.T.Garner Eng. Co.#I requesting <br />a five years exemption certificate for Nicholas Oatalino,Jos. Fays,John <br />Natoli, Stathe Moriatis, Herman Nemni~ Wm. Rowe, Walter Rowe,Melius Cleon, <br />and Irving Quick. Also announcing that the following were elected to active <br />Membership. John P. Sorci,Harold Palmer,Clinton Urey,Arthur E.Lagrange, <br />Joe. A. Tatro,Jack Silvestri,John G. Willie. ms,Kenneth A. Campbell, S~ephen <br />A. Stankiewioz, Also requesting a life roll exemption certificate for <br />Virgil Sco~ield. Motion by Trustee Paggi and seconded by Trustee Riley the <br />certificates be granted and the members confirmed. <br /> <br /># 275I. Health Officer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the <br />month of December There was less seasonal cases during the month of Decem~r <br />bet. This was because the weather dUring the month was considerably milder <br />than usual. Several oase~ of chicken pox and two cases of whooping cough <br />was reported during the month. There wore no complaints of nuisance brought <br />to the attention of the Health officer. Water sample was taken and sent to <br />Albany and report was satisfactory aS usual.. Motion by Trustee Pag.~ri and <br />seconded by Trustee Terwilliger the report be accepted as read. <br /> <br /># 2752. A Communication was read from the Town Board of the Town of Wapping$ <br />ere in reply to the one~ forward last month. Anno~moing that the Board went <br /> record in favor of the improving the lights on the stone Bridge a~i a~lso <br /> voted the sam of $ IOO.OO requested to help pay the cost of the same. <br /> <br />Motion by Trustee Kane and seconded by Trustee Berinato the communication <br />be accepted with a vote of thanks to the Town Board. <br /> <br /> # 2753. A Communication was read from Jas. F. Delehanty,Grocer on West Mai~ <br />Street. Requesting permission to place signs at the curb in front of hie <br />place of business during business hours in order that he may reserve a plac~ <br />the length of his delivery truck to load and unload. Motion by Trustee Rile,. <br />and seconded by Trustee Kane permission be granted to Mr. Delehanty and he <br />is to assume all responsibility of accidents occuring from said signs. <br /> <br /># 2754. Police officer Eagan, DiBerto and Costa report of arrest for the <br />month of December was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />(see page I35) <br /> <br /> <br />
