I9)~S at 7;30 P.H. <br /> <br />Those present; Trustee Fe~ney, Riley, Goebel, Befinato, Terwilliger,Mayor ~ <br />Temple'and Treas. LeRoy. Absent. Trustee Sidote & Atty. Schofield. <br /> <br />Me,ting called to order. Roll Qall. The minutes of the previous regular <br />and special meetings were read. Upon motion by~ Trustee Riley and secon- i <br />ded by Trustee Terwilliger the minutes stand adopted as read. <br /> <br />$-2506. Police Justice Begg report for the month of July was read announoi ~g <br />that the sum of ~ 527.00 collected in fines and bonds were sent to the <br />state deot. as to comply with the mew law. ~otion by Trus~e~ Berinato an~ <br />seconded by Trustee Riley the r~port be ac~epted as read. <br /> <br />$250~. Health Officer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the .~ <br />month of July. There were no unusual cases of outbreaks of disease durin~ <br />the month. No cases of contagious dis,~,se were reported during the month <br />Two or three oases were suspicious o~~ l~llo but did not term to be that <br />disease. Your Health officer attended the conference of Health officers <br />at Saratoga July~2~,2~,23; Water sample was collected and the report <br />was satisfactory as usual. No complaints of nuisances received. Motion <br />by Trustee Terwilliger and seconded by Trust~ Riley the report be accept- <br />ed as read. <br /> <br />$2508. Liability & Property Damage policy on Police Car was received for <br />renewal from Agent. Gertrude W. Beasley. ~lotion by Trustee Riley and sec~ <br />onded by Trustee Berinato the policy be renewed and the bill ordered paid. <br /> <br />~2509. A Co~munication was read fro~ the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.-~2 a~ounc- <br />lng that H~rold Boo,ah was elected to aotiv~ membership. Motion by Trustee <br />Riley and seconded.by Trustee Goebel the same be confirmed. <br /> <br />$2509. A Co~r~unioation was read from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.~2 requestin~ <br />a five years exemption certificate for Dominic Valentino. Motion by Tru~ <br />stee ~Berinato and seconded by Trust-~e Goebel the same be granted. <br /> <br />$2509. A Communication was read from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.$2 requesting <br />the Village to purchased some folding~ chairs for the company. The same <br />was r.eferred to Chairman Terwil!iger of the Fire Comr~ittee. <br /> <br />$2510. Police Officer Eagan, DiBerto and Costa r~port of arrest for the <br />month, of July was received and ordered filed. <br /> <br />$2511. A Com~unioation was read from Agent Howard J. Walker requesting if <br />the Board of Trustees wishes to increase the insurance on the Johnson fir.e <br />house policy which expires next month. No action taken. <br /> <br /> Chairman Berinato of the Highway Co~lttee reported progress. <br /> <br /> Chairman Riley of the Electric Light Co~n~ittee reported that Mr. Hannan <br /> had informed him that the Seitz & Perkins Co. expects to install the new <br /> mercury vapor lights on the Main St~eet for the Village. <br /> <br /> Chairman Terwilliger of the ~ire Con'~lttee reported that the chimney oh <br />the Johnson Fire house was rel~aired and the front of the building will ha~e <br />to have some pointing up. He did not receive al! the bids for the repairs <br />to the roof. <br /> <br />Chairman ~idote of the Ordinance Com~¥~ittee not present at the meeting. <br /> <br /> <br />
