272 The regular meeting of the Board of Trustees was head-at the ~esier Homestead on ~edn~s~day Evenir4~, August 4th. I9)~S at 7;30 P.H. Those present; Trustee Fe~ney, Riley, Goebel, Befinato, Terwilliger,Mayor ~ Temple'and Treas. LeRoy. Absent. Trustee Sidote & Atty. Schofield. Me,ting called to order. Roll Qall. The minutes of the previous regular and special meetings were read. Upon motion by~ Trustee Riley and secon- i ded by Trustee Terwilliger the minutes stand adopted as read. $-2506. Police Justice Begg report for the month of July was read announoi ~g that the sum of ~ 527.00 collected in fines and bonds were sent to the state deot. as to comply with the mew law. ~otion by Trus~e~ Berinato an~ seconded by Trustee Riley the r~port be ac~epted as read. $250~. Health Officer Dr. O'Brien submitted the following report for the .~ month of July. There were no unusual cases of outbreaks of disease durin~ the month. No cases of contagious dis,~,se were reported during the month Two or three oases were suspicious o~~ l~llo but did not term to be that disease. Your Health officer attended the conference of Health officers at Saratoga July~2~,2~,23; Water sample was collected and the report was satisfactory as usual. No complaints of nuisances received. Motion by Trustee Terwilliger and seconded by Trust~ Riley the report be accept- ed as read. $2508. Liability & Property Damage policy on Police Car was received for renewal from Agent. Gertrude W. Beasley. ~lotion by Trustee Riley and sec~ onded by Trustee Berinato the policy be renewed and the bill ordered paid. ~2509. A Co~munication was read fro~ the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.-~2 a~ounc- lng that H~rold Boo,ah was elected to aotiv~ membership. Motion by Trustee Riley and seconded.by Trustee Goebel the same be confirmed. $2509. A Co~r~unioation was read from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.~2 requestin~ a five years exemption certificate for Dominic Valentino. Motion by Tru~ stee ~Berinato and seconded by Trust-~e Goebel the same be granted. $2509. A Communication was read from the S.W. Johnson Eng. Co.$2 requesting the Village to purchased some folding~ chairs for the company. The same was r.eferred to Chairman Terwil!iger of the Fire Comr~ittee. $2510. Police Officer Eagan, DiBerto and Costa r~port of arrest for the month, of July was received and ordered filed. $2511. A Com~unioation was read from Agent Howard J. Walker requesting if the Board of Trustees wishes to increase the insurance on the Johnson fir.e house policy which expires next month. No action taken. Chairman Berinato of the Highway Co~lttee reported progress. Chairman Riley of the Electric Light Co~n~ittee reported that Mr. Hannan had informed him that the Seitz & Perkins Co. expects to install the new mercury vapor lights on the Main St~eet for the Village. Chairman Terwilliger of the ~ire Con'~lttee reported that the chimney oh the Johnson Fire house was rel~aired and the front of the building will ha~e to have some pointing up. He did not receive al! the bids for the repairs to the roof. Chairman ~idote of the Ordinance Com~¥~ittee not present at the meeting.
