Lyons; Zoning Officer John W. Naubewnestel; <br />Recording Secretary Nancy Lewney <br /> <br />Mr. George Casey <br />Mr. Joseph Mracone <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli called the meeting te order ?:35 p.m. <br />~e requested a motion to dispense with the reading ef the minutes ~ te apprew~ s~ae <br />as written and forwarded to all members by mail. <br />Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. VanWagenen te dispense with the rending ef the <br />minutes and te approve same as written and forwarded to m~ 1 ~ubers by mail. <br />Ail in favor; motion carried. Minutes approved. <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli stated there is nothing em the agenda and he a~ked if there was an~ <br />old er new business to be discussed. <br />The secretary mentioned that an inquiry was ma~e in regar~ te Dr. Ritz's house ~d <br />office on the corner of South Ave. and Carmine Drive. it was stated that the person <br />wante~ to knew if this could be converted into three (3) apartments. <br />Atty. Lyons stated this is an R-7.5 District which is single family, residential ama <br />the rezoning process w~ld have to be followed. <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli uked the secretary if Mr. Joseph Necere had applie~ for a variance <br />to build a garage with an apartment over it. <br />Secretary replied that he has not contacted her or the Zoning Enforcement 0Cficer. <br /> <br />Discussion was held in regar~ to the Getty Station en the corner of West M~in and <br />Clinton Streets. Sign that was blocking vision has been removed and there have been <br />no further inquiries to also m~ auto re.irs. <br /> <br /> Chairman Save]Ii then asked the Zoning ~fficer what was going on with T~alins on <br />West St. <br />Zoning ~fficer Haubennestel stated Mrs. Tc~l~ wont $o the l'lamning B~ard te get <br />approval for a day care center, lrlanning B~ard gave approval. She has the o.k. frma <br />the Beard of Nealth and the State. <br />Mr. ~mith asked if they OWned the house and he was told yes. <br />Zoning Officer N~ubennestel also said Mr. Temlins wanted a building permit. Ne has <br />the necessary 30% (105 sq. ft. ). The State has informed Mrs. Tcmlins that she needs <br />an assembly room. <br />Atty. Lyeas read fron the Schedule of Regulations for residential districts. Ne <br />pointed cut that in an R-12.5 district, a day care center is not ~l~wed. It lists <br />only public and private schools. ~e stated that Mrs. Temlins should have come before <br />t~e Zoning Board for a special use permit. <br />Discussion was held on schools that were on the Will~am~ property, Engleman property <br />an~ the probl-~_ they had with one woman en Liss Road. <br />Atty. Lyons stated the certificate ef occupancy is invalid. <br />Zoning Gfficer Neubeonestel stated the certificate of occupmucy was issued, contingent <br />upon what the state says. <br />Chairet~n Savelli said the area leeks like a dump. <br />Mr..~,fth stated the permit is not valid and State should ~e ~*~med ef same. <br />Zoning Officer N~ubennestel stated he would not rescind the certificate of occupancy. <br />Atty. Lyons suggested the Planning Bomrd be n9tified abemt this matter, in order to <br /> <br /> <br />
