Motion by Mr. Neu~an, seconded by Mr. VanWagenen to dispense with the read~ug of the m4nutes ~ to approve same as written ~ forwa~de~ to aJ_l members by mail. All in favor; motion carried. Minutes approved as written. Chairman Savelli stnte~ he reeeive~ a letter frc~ the ~o~ing OFficer in regar~ to a Brd apartment at 29 Olapp Avenue. The house is in the name of Doris Glusker. ~e ~lso stated that there are scrapped cars on the property. Zoning Officer ~ubennestel stated he received a complaint about the 3rd ~par~aent. As the Board is a~are she has a v~riance for ~ 2 apartments. The Fire Iuspector went to the promises and a tenant confirmed that there is a 3rd apam~aent. Mrs. Glu~ker 10 days to remove the cars and to cease and desist from the use of the 3rd apa~L~ent. Mr. ~nith stated he had passed the Getty ~aa ~catien an~ could see no unlicensed cars. The only cars on the premises were there for repairs. Zoning Officer Haubenuestel stated the owner is sub leasing fr~n a dealer. Mr. ,~4th asked who owns the cars. Zoning Officer ~ubennestel replied that the cars are owned by a dealer. The dealer takes them to Getty for repeirs. Mr. Smith asked about the plates on the cars. Zoning Officer ~ubeonestel stated the license for the cars is issued te the dealer by the State. Discussion ended. ChaLrma~ Smve]~ inquired about the DePaolo property on West M~in Street. He stated the porch is a mess and still has not been completed. Mr. Smith stated the Zoning BOL~Xl cannot run the world. Atty. Lyons stated this is not a problem of the Zoning Board. Mr. Ne,,,_~n asked if ~Ltsorderl~ conduct charges could be br~,_ght, as the porch is a hazard and serves no useful purpose. Atty. Lyo~ stated you can't enforce this. You cannot force an~rone to do anything with their property if they do not went to do it. Discussion followed. Atty. Lyons stated that Calvin Lawrence wanted to appear before the Benzol but it was to late. He said that he told Mr. L~wrence that he would discuss with the Board what he wanted to do an~ get their reaction. Mr. Lawrence owns property on Garden Street. There are four lots. Atty. Lyons showed plan of same. Atty. Lyons stated that Mr. Lawrence want to build a house on the lot. ~t is an R-2F District. Atty. LyOns said that Mr. Lawrence wants to know whether he should cede before the Board for a variance or an interpretation. Discussion followed. Tt was felt that a hearing should be held for an interpretation. Discussion ended.
