Zoning Board of Appeals M~inutes of Meeting Held January 8, 1985, Mesier Homestead, <br />Wappingers Falls, New York <br /> <br />Those present: Chairman Frank Savelli; George Casey; Robert Smith; Sterling VanWagenen; <br /> Joel Ne,,m~.u; Nancy Lowney, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: Harold Reilly, Village Attorney; John W. Haubennestel, Zoning Officer <br /> <br />Others present: <br /> <br />Lynn Greco, 14 Remsen Avenue North <br />Alfred Greco, 14 Remsen Avenue North <br />Wesley Sutton, Remseu Avenue North <br />Mr. Tuttle, Remsen Avenue North <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli called the meeting to order 7:30 p.m. <br />He requested a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes and to approve same <br />as written and forwarded to all members by mail. <br />Motion by Mr. Casey, seconded by Mm. Neuman to dispense with the reading of the minutes <br />and to approve same as written and forwarded to all members by mail. <br />All in favor; motion carried. Minutes approved. <br /> <br />C~airman Savelli stated that Mrs. Lynn Greco telephoned him and requested to appear <br />before the Board in connection with the White property on ~ Remsen Avenue North. He <br />had expl~ined that Mr. White had a variance for his garage. Mr. White sued the Vil- <br />lage to keep the garage and bed certain stipulations that he had to follow in order <br />to do so. <br />Chairman Savelli then pinted out the Zoni~ Board of Appeals cannot enforce the law. <br /> <br />Mrs. Greco stated that Mr. White has 2 inspection signs on his garage. O~e is green <br />and white and the other is yellow and black with inspection numbers on it. He has <br />also put in a 4~0 service to the building. <br />Mr. VanWagenen sugge~eted that the Colonel be requested to check this matter out. <br />Mrs. Greco stated that the Colonel knows about it. She c~11ed him a~l he told her <br />if she wants to trouble, so will he. <br />Mr. Tully stated that there are 10 wheelers constantly going in and out. <br />Chairman Savelli felt this should be brought to the attention of the Trustees of <br />the Ward and the Board as a whole. Cioppa has brought a motion to chs~uge the zoning ordinance <br />in regard to roomers and/or boarders in certian districts. <br /> <br />Disoussion was held on amaudments in regard to junk cars, and also the fire houses. <br /> <br />Motion byMr. Casey, seconded byMr. Smith that the meeting adjourn. <br />All in favor; motion carried.
