Zoning Board of Appeals Minutes of Meeting Held March 5, 1985, Mesier Homestead, <br />Wappingers F~lls, New York <br /> <br />Those present: Frank Savelli, Chairman; George Casey; Robert Smith; Joel Neuman; <br /> Nancy Lowney, Recording Secretary <br /> <br />Absent: Sterlim~ VanWagenen; Harold Reilly, Village Attorney; John W. Haubennestel, <br /> Zoning Enforcement Officer <br /> <br />Chairman Smvelli ce.l!ed the meeting to order 7:B5 p.m. <br />He requested a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes and to approve same <br />as written and forwarded to all members by mail. <br />Motion by Mr. C~sey, seconded by Mr. Neumau to dispense with the reading of the minutes <br />and to approve same as written and forwarded to,all members by mail. <br />All 'in favor; motion carried. Minutes approved as written. <br /> <br />Chairmau Savelli stated that Jay Paggi, engineer, would be appearing before the Board <br />next month. He will be seeking a variance to erect a 2 family house on the Menconeri <br />property located at 53 West M~in Street. The garage would be demolished. <br />Discussion followed. <br /> <br />Discussion was held in regard to Associated W~rehouse, Route 9. They went before <br />the Planning Board for approval to construct ~u extension. Board approved the plans, <br />but advised Mr. Gray that he would ha'~e to go to Zoning Board of Appeals for a <br />variance due to rear y~rd setbacks. <br />Secretary advised the Board that Mr. Gray has not, as yet, filed a Notice of Appeal. <br /> <br />Discussion was h~ld concerning the burned out buildings on West Main Street. The <br />Community Services Program, Iuc. will be taking them over and they will convert same <br />into housing for senior citizens. <br /> <br />Chairman Save!li then ~tated that Hall's house on Walker Place should be checked out <br />as there could be problems. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Smith, seconded by Mr. Neumsn that the meeting adjourn. <br />All in favor; motion carried.
