<br />Chairman Savelli called the meeting to order 7:30 p.m.
<br />Chairman Savelli then stated that before a motion was made to approve the minutes of
<br />August 12th meeting, a correction has to be made on Page 3. He said Tr. Komornik
<br />stated that she would have no gestures made to the Board. Chairman Savelli stated
<br />that there is no explanation of the gesture and he said that it should be correcte~
<br />fo read that Mr. Sardo made a ~esture with his hands insinuating that the Board had
<br />been bribed.
<br />~otion by ~r. VanWagenen, seconded by Hr. Smith to dispense with the reading of the
<br />minutes and to approve same with correction made to page 3.
<br />Roll call vote: Mr. Casey, aye; Mr. VanWagenen, aye; Mr. Smith, aye; Bhairman Savelli,
<br />aye.
<br />All Tn favor; motion carried. Minutes approved with correction to page 3.

<br />Chairman Savelll then stated that the first order of business on the agenda would be a
<br />public hearing at the request of Henry J. Gugumuck, 68 Mesier Avenue South, Village,
<br />seeking a variance to add an addition to his premises at 6~ Mesier South. Said variance
<br />is being reauested due to shortage of side line clearance.
<br />Secretary read Hotice of Appeal, Legal Notice as it appeared in the Southern Dutchess
<br />News and she explained that she contacted Ed Welsh, Planner at County Planning, as he
<br />did not reply to the request of a recommendation. Mr. Welsh stated that if there is
<br />not any great opposition, the ~oard could grant the variance.
<br />Chairman Savelfi asked if all within 200 ft. had been notified and was told yes.
<br />Atty. Viglotti stated that ~r. Gugumuck should be sworn in and same was done and duly
<br />noted.
<br />~!r. ~uoumuck stated that the house presently has 3 bedrooms which are very small. There
<br />are no closets except for a small walk-in closet. He has four children, two in each
<br />room. Their ages are 7, 3, 2, & ~ months. He tried looking at other houses, but they
<br />are out of his price tangs.
<br />!~r. VanWagenen questioned whether the lot was 50 x 150 and was told 50 x 175.
<br />Hr. Gugumuck replied that he is 3½ feet short.
<br />Chairman Savelli stated that the addition would be even with the house.
