Y. <br />Todd ~ Karen Baright, 13S Rt., 9, Village <br />Richard Earight, 138 Rt. g, Village <br />Rand Earight, 13S Rt. 9, Village <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli called the meeting to order 7:31 p.m. <br />He exolained that the ~oard was having this special meeting, as they did not have a <br />muerum at the last meefing. <br />Chairman Savelli requested a motion to disoense with the reading of the minutes and <br />to a~nrove same as written and forwarded to all members by mail. <br />?oti~ bv ~,'r. VanWa~enen, seconded by ~r. Casey to disnense with the reading of the <br />minutes and fo approve same as written and forwarded to all ~embers 5y mail. <br />All in favor~ motion carried. Minutes a~roved. <br /> <br />Chairman Savelli stated that the first item on the agend~ would be a public hearing, <br />at the request of ~aright Associaies, 13S Route 9, Village, seeking the issuance of <br />a Special []se Permit for a 7ublic ~arage and commercial laundromat at 13~ Route 9, <br />Village. <br />Secy. read the ~!otice of Appeal, Legal Hotice and the recommendation of the Dutchess <br />County Dent. of alanninq, which stated that the special use hermit should be denied. <br />Chairman Savelli asked if all within the 200 ft. radius had been notified and Secy. <br />re~lied yes. <br />Atty. Viglotti pointed out that since County ~lannlng recommended denial, the Board <br />must have a majority plus one vote if they are to grant the S~ecial []se Permit. <br />Mr~ Richard Saright then was duly sworn by the Village Attorney. <br />Atty. Vigl~tti stated that for his clarification, he would like to know what approval <br />!~r. !'arioht received from t~e Planning ~oard. <br />~r. Rari~ht stated that he received apnroval for the laundromat and was advised to go <br />to t~e Zoning ~oard of Ao~eals for the snecial use permit. He said that there is 3 <br />plus acres and he feels tF~e size and scope can justify his investment. He will have <br />an office u~stair~ and he received a~proval for I~ bays, which are sel~-service, but <br />he has cut this down to nine. Re feels that the lube change is a logical use. The <br />nlanning ~oard ~ave him a0proval for the laundromat. He thinks that these businesses <br />are com?~tible. There are bays in the back and he will imorove the ~roi~erty. There <br />will he more r~an power needed. The lube changes would be done quietly and Medicus <br />has net complained. He feels are businesses are compatible. Ne is not installing <br />anything like video games and there will be no major re~airs. He wil! fix up the front. <br />~tty. Viglotti stated t~at he would have to go back to the Planning moard. <br /> ~.~r. ~arieht stated tha? he built a flat sh~d. <br /> Atty.
