Secretary read legal
notice as inserted in the August 24, 1988 edition of Southern Dutchess News,
and notice of Appeal #11-88. Secretary advised that all property owners within
a radius of 200 feet from subject property were furnished a copy of the legal
notice. Secretary stated that the Dutchess County Planning Department responded
to the zoning referral and indicated there were no problems.

Mr. McLauchlan stated that he would like to remove the existing mobile home
on the property and replace it with a new modular home. This home will not
have wheels on it and it will be built on a foundation. Mr. McLauchlan passed
around a sketch of the proposed home and informed the board that it would meet
with all the setbacks. The home would have to be situated sideways on the pro-
perty.

Mr. Viglotti questioned just what Mr. McLauchlan was appealing from. Was he
appealing from the determination that this is a mobile home and prohibited in
the Village of Wappingers or was he appealing from a determination that says
that the lot is too small.

Mr. McLauchlan stated that the lot was 5,600 sq. ft. and he needed 7,500 sq. ft.
according to the Zoning Ordinance to be able to put anything on it.
