LAWRENCE HAMBURG, 20-3D LOUDON DRIVE, FISHKILL, NEW YORK
Chairman Savelli stated that the next order of business would be holding of public
hearing on application of Dr. Lawrence Hamburg, 20-3D Loudon Drive, Fishkill, New
York seeking an interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance for property situated at 1
East Academy Street, Wappingers Falls. Secretary read legal notice as inserted in
the November 23, 1988 edition of Southern Dutchess News and Notice of Appeal #19-88.
Secretary advised that all property owners within a radius of 200 feet from subject
property were furnished a copy of the legal notice.

Dr. Hamburg who is in the process of buying the premises at 1 East Academy Street
was seeking an interpretation of the zoning ordinance for that property. Dr.
Hamburg stated he is interested in putting a chiropractor in the building and
wanted to know if he would be able to do so. Dr. Hamburg stated that he is also a dentist and will be going
into practice in Dr. Engelman's previous office.

Chairman Savelli asked Dr. Hamburg what he intended to do about the Day School which
is a separate building on the premises and Dr. Hamburg answered nothing. It will
stay as is. Mr. Stenger read from Sections 463.3 and 463.1 of the Zoning Ordinance
of the Village of Wappingers Falls which deals with non-conforming~uses of buildings.
He explained the significance of those paragraphs and an informal discussion followed
