MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HELDAT MESIER <br />HOMESTEAD WAPPINGERS FALLS~ NEW YURK- JULY l~, 1989 <br /> <br />Present; Mr. Frank Savelli, Chairman, Robert Smith, Harry Greco, George <br /> Casey and' Mary Ann Wood, Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> <br />Mr. and Mrs. Orlando DiMarco, 26 Mill Street, Wappingers Falls <br />Mr. and Mrs. Newton Erickson, lOllEast Main Street, Wappingers Falls <br />Mrs. Thelma Campbell, East Main Street, Wappingers Falls <br />Trustee Fisch <br />Mr. Jerald Druker, Freight Liquidators, Wappingers Falls <br />Attorney David Pisanelli <br />S. Ali Hajiani, 75 Market Street, Wappingers Falls <br />Mr. Steve Tinkelman, Ormater Development Corporation <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Motion was made by Mr. Casey and <br />seconded by Mr. Greco to accept the minutes of the June 6, 1989 meeting. <br />Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />MR. AND MRS. ORLANDO DIMARCO, 26 MILL STREET, WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY <br />First on the agenda was application of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando DiMarco, 26 Mill <br />Street, Wappingers Falls seeking a variance from the sideline setback to be able <br />to erect a two-car garage on ab6ve premises. Secretary read legal notice as <br />inserted in the June 21, 1989 edition of the Southern Dutchess News and Notice <br />of Appeal #12-89. Secretary advised that all property owners within a radius <br />of 200 feet from subject property were furnished a copy of the legal notice and <br />Dutchess County Department of Planning responded with no comment to the zoning <br />referral. <br /> <br />Mrs. DiMarco presented her plan to the Board. She stated that she would be <br />getting rid of the shed that is presently on her property. Mr. Benedetto <br />does not object to the garage being put up. Mrs. DiMarco also stated she <br />felt her putting up the garage would improve the look of the property because <br />they would be able to store their equipment. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith made a motion that a variance be g~anted to be able to e~ect a <br />gara§e to be located within one (1) foot of the boundary line. Motion <br />seconded by Mr. Greco. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />MR. JERALD DRUKER~ FREIGHT.LIQUIDATORS, ROUTE 9, WAPPINGERS FALLS <br />Next on the agenda was application of MrJ Jerald Druker, Freight Liquidators, <br />seeking a variance to b able to have two storage trailers on his property. <br />Secretary read legal notice as inserted in the June 21, 1989 edition of the <br />Southern Dutchess News and NotiCe OF Appeal #10-89. Secretary advised that <br />all property owners within a radius of 200 feet from subject property were <br />furnished a copy of the legal notice and Dutchess County Department of <br />Planning responded to the zoning referral favorably. <br /> <br /> <br />
