MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS HELD AT MESIER <br />HOMESTEAD, WAPPINGERS FALLS, NEW YORK - SEPTEMBER 7, lgsg <br /> <br />Present: Mr. Frank Savelli, Chairman, Robert Smith, Harry Greco, <br /> and Mary Ann Wood, Secretary <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Lou Viglotti, Village Attorney <br /> Mrs. Eileen Masterson, 60 Mesier Avenue South, Wappingers Falls <br /> Mr. Hank DiMarco, Pleasant Lane, Wappingers Falls <br /> Mr. Gil Napoleon, West Main Street, Wappingers Falls <br /> Mr. and Mrs. A. Bertola, 34 Spring Street, Wappingers <br /> MR. George Kolb, 3I Liss Road, Wappingers Falls <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. Motion was made by Mr. Smith and <br />seconded by Mr. Greco to accept the minutes of the August 8, 1989 meeting. <br />Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />MR. GEORGE KOLB, 31LISS ROAD~ WAPPINGERS FALLS <br />The only item on the agenda was the application of Mr. George Kolb, 31Liss <br />Road, Wappingers Falls seeking a variance from the~parking requirements for <br />his business located at 3 Market Street, Wappingers Falls. Secretary read <br />legal notice as inserted in the August 23, 1989 edition of the Southern Dutchess <br />News and Notice of Appeal #14-89. Secretary advised that all property owners <br />within a radius..of 200 feet from subject property were furnished a copy of the <br />legal notice and Dutchess County Department of Planning responded that this <br />was a matter of local concern to the zoning referral. <br /> <br />Mr. Kolb presented his plan. It was stated that the parking must be on the <br />whole building not just the proposed addition. Right now there is no off- <br />street parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Napoleon and Mr. DiMarco stated they were in favor of granting Mr. Kolb <br />his variance. Mr. Casey also stated he would recommend granting Mr. Kolb his <br />variance. <br /> <br />A question of rear, front and side setbacks came up. It was determined that Mr. <br />Kolb would need a variance for all of the above. Mr. Kolb withdrew his parking <br />variance application and his money was refunded. He will come back to the ZBA <br />next with a new application for parking and for rear, front and side setbacks. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith made a motion to adjourn meeting seconded by Mr. Greco.
