MINUTES OF ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS MEETING <br /> <br />HELD OCTOBER <br /> <br />Present: Frank Savelli, Chairman~ Robert Smith~ Harry Greco~ <br /> Sterling Van Wagenen~ Mitchell Usavich~ Mary Ann <br /> Bolander, Secretary. <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Peter' Emmi <br /> Armand Alfonso <br /> Tony Pacio <br /> Eileen Masterson <br /> Hank DiMarco <br /> Steve Tinkelman <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 3:33 p.m. Motiom by Mr. Smith <br />seconded by Mr. Graco to accept the minutes of the September <br />meeting received by all members by mail. Unanimously <br />carried. <br /> <br />PETER £MMI, 31 SOUTH AVENUE~ WAPPINGERS FALLS, NY <br />First on the agenda was the application of MI-. Peter Emmi~ 31 <br />South Avenue, Wappingers Falls seeking a variance to be able <br />to construct an entrance to the second floor giving tenants <br />a private at, trance. Secretary read legal notice which <br />appeared in the Southern Dutchess News and Notice of Appeal. <br />Secretary also informed that property earners within a RO0 'ft. <br />radius had received a copy of the legal notice and Dutchess <br />County Department of Planning had responded to the zoning <br />referral with a "matter of local concern" comment. <br /> <br />Mr. Emmi presented his case. He is looking to make a <br />separate entrance for his tenants. He presented pictures <br />of hoclse and survey map and presented drawings of what <br />entrance would look like. Ne ~lso stated the entrance would <br />be covered with a canopy. Mr. Van Wagenen stated that the <br />stairs should not be built any closer te the front property <br />line than the existing porch stairs. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith made a motion to grant the variance, seconded by <br />MI-. Graco. Unanimously carried~ Mr. Emmi was told to apply <br />to the 2oning Officer for a building per'mit and that all New <br />York State Buildimg Codes had to be adher'ed to. <br /> <br />MR. STEVE TINKELMAN, ORNA'~ER DEVELOPMENT CORPORA~'ION <br />Next on ti~e agenda was the application of Mr~ Steve Tinkelman <br />Ormater Development Corporation, llO Mill Street seeking a <br />va;-iance to be able to use a portion of the building at 91 <br />East Main Street for repairing furniture which is not <br />permitted in 'the OB zone. Secretary read legal notice and <br />also Notice of Appeal. Secretary also informed that ali <br />homeowners within a R00 ft. ~-adius of sub.)act property had <br /> <br /> <br />
