Baright <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:33 p.m. Motion by Mr. <br />Smit]~, seconded by M_r. Gl'ccc to accept t~le minutes of tile <br />Septen~,er meeting which were received by all members by <br />mail. Unanimously carried. <br /> <br />It was noted that during the workshop portion of the meeting <br />t]~e Board voted unanimously to allow Mr. T]]on%as Haggerty, <br />1-7 West Main Stl'eet, which is in a RM-2 zone, to rent the <br />first floor of building as offices or stores without him <br />having to apply to tile Zoning Board of Appeals. All he has <br />to do is apply for a certificate of occupancy wit]~ Zoning <br />Officer and if all confolm~s to code, a certificate of <br />occupancy will be issued. <br /> <br />Village Attorney Viglotti stated for ~]e record tAat <br />Secretary should not sc~]edule hearings 20 minutes apart. <br />All hearings should be s~eduled to start at 7:30 p.m. and <br />follow each o~]er as put on t]~e agenda. Board unanimously <br />a~reed to <br /> <br />WAPPINGERB ~ ~SINESS AND PROFESSIONAL ~ <br />First on the agenda was the application of the Wappingers <br />Falls Business and P~-ofessional Association seeking a <br />variance to be able to have parking spaces that are 8 foot <br />in width rather than the required 9 ft. in width for <br />proposed parkir~ lot at the former Sweet C~'r Building Site. <br />Secretax7 read legal notice which appeared in the Southern <br />Dutchess News and infoxTaed that all proper~.y owners within <br />a 200 ft. radius of prepex~y had been fu~T~ished a copy of <br />the legal netice. Secretax-y also stated that the 5b~tchess <br />County Depa~-tment of Planr, ir~. had responded to the Zoning <br />Referl-al with a letter dated October 1, 1992. (A copy of <br />which is in file at Zoning Office). <br /> <br />Ms. P~ O'Lea~-f representing the Association stated the <br />reason they are seekir~ the variance is because it allows <br /> <br /> <br />
