Pacio <br /> John Costa <br /> <br /> Bob Kemp <br /> Hank DiMarco <br /> EileenMasterson <br /> Jack Shay <br /> <br />Meeting was called to oz~ez' at 7:63 p.m. Motion by Mr. <br />Gl-eeo, seconded by Ms. Bovine to accept the minutes of the <br />July. U]lania~usl y carl-led. <br /> <br />First item on the a~enda was the application of Mr. Tony <br />Rabadi, 127 West Main Street seekin~ a variance %o be able to <br />sell more than allowed by code at snack shop at the a~ve <br />address. Secretary] read legal notice which appeared in the <br />Southern Dutchess News and also infold that all neighbors <br />within a 200 ft. radius had been fuxnaished a copy of legal <br />notice. Secretary also infoxmed that Dutchess County <br />Depa~T~nent of Planning had responded to the legal notice with <br />a "matter of local concexm" eon~aent. <br /> <br />Mr. Rabadi stated he is the owner of the snack shop <br />associated with the Exxon Gas Station on West Main Street. <br />Mr. Rabadi stated he would like to start sellin~ milk, <br />b~ead, eggs, and daix7 products mainly for the convenience of <br />senior citizens who live near his business. He presented a <br />petition to the Boa~d signed by people in the neighborhood <br />who are in favor of Mr. Rabadi getting the variance. He also <br />stated that there are no plans for expansion of the building. <br /> <br />Mr. G~eco asked when Mr. Rabadi began leasing the buildin~ <br />and he stated in August 1992. Mr. Greco also asked who Mr. <br />Rabadi's contact was with Spain Oil and Mr. Rabadi answered <br />Mr. Joe Guarino. Mr. Greco stated that Mr. Guanine was aware <br />of the rules for the business and he asked Mr. Rabadi if he <br />was informed of what he could and could not do and Mr. Rahadi <br />a~wered no. According to the Planning ~oa~d minutes of May <br />2, 1985 states what they can and ca~not sell. <br /> <br />Mr. Rabadi stated when he leased the store the previous owner <br />was selling milk. Mr. Greco stated that right up the steer <br />at a very shor~ distance there is a small grocery store which <br />supplies this type. of merchandise. Mr. Rabadi stated he is <br /> <br /> <br />
