Motion by Mr. Greco, seconded by Mr. Lewis <br />to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. Unanimously carried <br /> <br />MARTIN RESEK, 20 SPRING STREET~ WAPPINGERS FALLS <br />First on the agenda was the application of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Resek seeking a use <br />variance to be able to use 20 Spring Street as a four family home. Currently the house is <br />a non-conforming three family house in a single family zone. It was also stated that Mr. <br />Resek does not Hve at 20 Spring Street. Applicant stated that the house has been in the <br />family for about 100 years and applicant's grandmother was born in the house. The <br />house is currently a three family house. One of the apartments is occupied by the <br />applicant's grandmother who does not pay rent. He stated there are two families on the <br />left side of the house and one family on the right. He wants to divide the right side into <br />two apartments. At this point he presented his legal notice receipts. <br /> <br />Mrs. Riley who lives across the street from the applicant stated she has no objection. She <br />feels' there is ample room for parking and there is already a four family home next door. <br />It seems that Mr. Resek is alreadyfixing up the place. Secretary read letters from two of <br />the neighbors who could not attend meeting. One of the neighbors stated she is against <br />the variance and the other one states she is not against the variance but wants to make <br />sure there is sufficient parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Resek stated he needs the fourth apartment to be able to carry the load of the house. <br />He also stated he will bringfinancial records to the next meeting. He went on to state he <br />had been before the Planning Board and he realizes there are area variances he needs to <br />be in conformance and he will be back before the ZBA at the next meeting with another <br /> <br /> <br />
