Applicant also presented to the
Board pictures of neighboring garages and a picture of his proposed garage. He pointed
out to the Board from the survey where the present garage stands. He would like to build
the new garage directly behind the old one and take the old one down. The base of the
old one has been completely deteriorated His plan is to basically conform with the
garages of his neighbors and make it look a little more Victorian to conform to his
house. He would like to make it a little taller to be able to fit his van into the garage. In
order to compensate for a 45 degree angle for the roof he would have to go to a total of
23 feet. The garage would still not be as high as the neighbor's garage. He went on to
state that his property in the rear drops off considerably. He would like to go higher for
aesthetics to conform with his house.
