MINUTES OF,.TH.E ZONING BOAP~. OF AP, P.EALS MEETING HELD 8/10/99 Present: Susan Hodge, Chair, Lloyd Frink, Vice Chair, Harry Greco, Bob Morris, Bob Lewis and Mary Ann Bolander, Secretary. Others Present: Mike Harrington Mayor Belding John Englund Paul Reed Bernie Buff Pat Cardenia Jay Blender Victor Moruzzi Ruth Rosenberg Meeting was called to order at 7:35p. m. BELL ATLANTIC MOBILE FOR CELL TOWERS AT WENLISS. SITE.AND CROWDER SITE Transcript of this portion of the minutes' is attached for your review. LAURIE GRUENDLE, 90 EAST .MAIN STREET Next on the agenda was the continuation of a public hearing on the request of Laurie Gruendle to be able to operate a day care center (before and after school and all day on holidays and summer vacations) at 90 East Main Street. At this point in the meeting Ms, Hodge read into the record a letter from Tom Visentin, Chairman of the Planning Board dated August 10, 1999 which states "Please be advised that at our August 5, 1999 meeting the Planning Board voted unanimously to approve this application contingent upon the following (1) applicant meeting all local and building codes, (2) drop off and pick up must be in the rear of the property, (3) maximum of 41 children as long as square footage is approved by the County and Village Fire Inspector, (4) ZBA approval, (5) assurance by Building/Fire Inspector that playground space is adequate." Ms. Hodge asked applicant if all the items in Mr. Visentin's letter have been addressed. Will drop off/pick up in the rear of the property be a problem? Applicant stated it has been that way for the past two years. Has the county and Village Fire Inspector approved 41 children for the square footage. Mr. Alfonso stated it cannot be approved for square footage until all renovations are complete. It seems from an on site inspection that once the renovations are complete she will be able to meet the square footage. Mr. Frink asked applicant for the requested copy of her lease. He specifically is looking for the clanse that shows applicant will lose all monies invested in property if she does not buy the property within 27 months of signing the new lease. Applicant pointed this out to the Board. A copy of this documentation is included in the file. Ms. Hodge asked how many parking spaces are available? Applicant stated there is enough parking spaces for eight vehicles. All clients pull in, back up and turn around to pull out. Ms. Hodge made a motion to close the public hearing, seconded by Mr. Frinlc Unanbnoasly carried
