All present. <br /> <br />EILEEN ALLEN, 4 MARSHALL ROAD <br />First on the agenda was an informal discussion with Mr. Robert Kortright regarding <br />property at 4 Marshall Road. Mr. Kortright stated the property is' currently zoned CB <br />and one of the uses listed on the chart is' gasoline station. They are currently in contract <br />to sell the entire piece of property and the new owner would like to use part of the <br />property for a repair station. Repair station is defined under the GB portion of the usage <br />chart. He stated he would be getting rid of the trailers and putting in the repair shop <br />with the used car dealership staying. Mr. Kortright stated there would be no ,gale of <br />gasoline at all. It was the consensus of the Zoning Board of Appeals that Mr. Kortright <br />had two choices - he could either apply for a use variance or he could apply to the Board <br />of Trustees for a zoning change. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION WITH PLANNING BOARD CHAIR - WHAT CONSTITUTES A <br />COMMERCIAL LA UNDR Y VS. COIN OPERA TED LA UNDR Y- 64 SO U TH AVE <br />The question now is what constitutes a commercial laundry vs. a coin operated laundry. <br />lf you consult the usage chart you have personal services listed under NB and <br />commercial laundry listed under GB. Applicant needed a clarification from the above as <br />part of an active application he had before the Planning Board. Applicant stated what he <br />was looking for was an interpretation of commercial laundry vs. coin operated laundry. <br />There is' a difference between both. Commercial laundry would be doing laundry for <br />hospitals, restaurants, etc. Mr. Frink stated he felt the best thing for apph'cant to do was <br />to file an interpretation with the Zoning Enforcement Officer. <br /> <br />CglItI,gTINE REL YEA FOR 8 SOUTH A VENUE <br />Next on the agenda was the informal discussion with Ms. Christine Relyea regarding a <br />previous variance granted by the Board to Eugene Ninnie, 8 South Avenue. Ms. Relyea <br />stated she attended a ZBA meeting (3/14/00) when Mr. Ninnie was applying for an area <br />variance for his building at S South Avenue.
