MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD 8/5/04_ <br /> <br />Present: Tom Morris, Chairman, Rob Alfonso - Vice Chairman, George Moran, <br />Matt Alexander, Don McCormick and Mary Ann Loncto <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Trustee Enson <br /> <br />Paul Latino <br />Tim Kramer <br />Mary Ann Stearns <br />Debra McNamee - CTE <br />William Partridge - Warex Term. <br />Damian Cardinale <br /> Gary Borgia <br /> Thomas Walsh <br /> <br />Carlos Barriga <br />Cindy Latino <br />Leo Steams <br />Tom Morey - Warex Term. <br />Lod Italiano <br />Conrad Decker <br />[ssac Gutierrez <br />Bob Travis <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m. Motion by Mr. Alfonso to approve the minutes <br />of the previous meeting as amended, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carded. <br />Amended minutes on file in the Planning and Zoning offices. <br /> <br />DISCUSSION - SOLDIER MEMORIAL, MESIER PARK <br />First on the agenda was a discussion on a request from the American Legion for the <br />construction ora Soldier Memorial at Mesier Park. No one from American Legion in <br />attendance at meeting. <br /> <br />ARIANNA'S, 2722 WEST MAIN STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the proposal from Lm'i [taliano for signs at 2722 West Main <br />Street. She was proposing two small signs in the front of the building - attached to the <br />building one on each side of the front door underneath the lights. One sign would be for <br />her business (Arianna's) and one for the Psychiatrist that is on the other side. The signs <br />are proposed at approximately 1 sq. fi. and they would be single sided. She went on to <br />state that the colors would be the exact same colors as her sign and that these samples <br />were on file. Secretary confirmed that samples were on file. After reviewing tale fo <br />conformance to zoning code - Mr. Alfonso made a motion to approve the request as <br />presented, seconded by Mr. Moran. Unanimously carried. <br /> NEIGHBORHOOD DAYCARE SERVICES, 11 ~11,1, STREET <br /> Next on thc agenda was the proposal from Paul and Cindy Latino to discuss signage and <br /> installation of awnings at 11 Mill Street. Applicants were just appearing informally. <br /> Initially when they had applied to the Planning Board for site plan approval the awnings <br /> had bee~ put on the plans - except for the awning on the front of the building. At the <br /> time of original approval - they did not have the funding for the front awning. They <br /> would now like to have approval for a front awning. It would be a canvas awning - color <br /> would be ~brest vintage. Applicant showed Board color sample of awning. They would <br /> like to put ~'Neighborhood Daycare Center" on the front. Mr, Morris explained to them <br /> about the sign ordinances and they are allowed to have two signs. There are two items <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />
