On roll call vote - Mr. Visentin -Aye, Mr. <br />Karge -Aye, Mr. Moran -Aye, Mr. Alfonso -Aye and Mr. Morris -Absent for voting. <br /> <br />At this point in the Mr. Visentin read the agenda for the meeting. <br /> <br />P,4 UI, A IQI TANIS~ 3 EAST MAIN STREET <br />First on the agenda was the informal appearance by Paul,~ataniS with a proposal to <br />open a nail salon at 3 East Main Street. She stated it wouM be a nail salon only and she <br />would also be doing massage therapy and facials. Mr. Visentin stated he has concerns <br />of the parking situation. He stated according to the square footage of the building she <br />will be using she will need lO parking spaces. There is on street parking on Main Street <br />and there is also a municipal lot where people can park. Applicant was instructed to poll <br />the other businesses in the area for the times they are open and the approximate number <br />of parking spots they use. She was also asked to survey the municipal lot for availability <br />of parking. <br /> <br />Mr. Moran asked about the vapors from her business and applicant stated she would <br />have a filter installed for that purpose. She also stated she wouM not be doing hair. Mr. <br />Travis instructed applicant she would need a back flow preventer/reduced pressure zone. <br />Mr. Karge suggested applicant instruct here employees to find somewhere else to park to <br />keep the spaces on Main Street free. She was also reminded that there is a two hour <br />parking limit on Main Street but applicant said that would have no impact on her <br />business as she books appointments about every hour and it takes approximately 45 <br />minutes to work on one customer. <br /> <br />Mr. Visentin instructed applicant to bring the parking survey to the zoning office. The <br />Planning Board would not hold her up from getting a building permit but the parking <br />survey needs to be on file. <br /> <br /> <br />
