Mr. Martin was at the meeting and
representing the applicants. Mr. Martin presented his site plan and a short form EAF.
Mr. Martin stated it is the intent of the applicants to open a podiatrist office. The
applicants propose to add an approximate 3,000 sq. fl. addition. To complement the
building they are proposing a new/rebuilt access way into the site. ~4pplicant is also
proposing 16parking spaces with 2 handicap spaces. The existing garage on site will be
removed. There is space pravided for a dumpster. They are also proposing a dry well
but it is not included on this submission as it will require soil testing. If the soils are not
conducive they will have to look into the possibility of running down East Main Street
into an already existing drain. Mr. Visentin reminded applicant that the area is very wet
and other properties in the area have had problems. It was stated that the applicant will
not live on the parcel. The question of land coverage was brought up and it was stated
that applicant had 9% land coverage.

Mr. Morris asked what type of dumpster enclosure applicant would have and Mr. Martin
answered he was not sure but probably some kind of landscaping or fencing. Mr.
Visentin mentioned to applicant that the dumpster enclosure should be such that flying
debris is contained. Mr. Visentin stated plan would have to go to County Planning for
their review. Mr. Visentin stated at the present time there is parking on both sides of
East Main Street and what the Planning Board should consider with the amount of traffic
that is already in the area and the proposed changes in the Day Care and this project he
feels the Planning Board should make a recommendation to the Mayor and Board of
Trustees to entertain the recommendation of one side of the street parking.
