MINUTES OF PLANNING BOARD MEETING HELD 2/4/99 <br /> <br />Present: Tom Visentin, Chairman, Tom Morris, Vice Chairman, Rob Alfonso, John <br />Karge, George Moran and Mary Ann Bolander, Secretary. <br /> <br />Others Present: <br /> Judy Morris <br /> Barbara Fitzgerald <br /> Dick Barger <br /> Charlie McDonald <br /> Ernie Martin <br /> <br />Larry Saler <br />Bill Fitzgerald <br />Mike Cohen <br />Bob Travis <br /> <br />Meeting was called to order at 7.'34 p.m. Motion by Mr. Alfonso, seconded by Mr. <br />Moran to approve the minutes of the January meeting. On roll call vote - Mr. Visentin - <br />Aye, Mr. Alfonso - Aye, Mr. Moran - Aye, Mr. Karge - Aye and Mr. Morris - Absent for <br />voting on the minutes. <br /> <br />LARRY'S COMPLETE CAR CAREt 1134 ROUTE 9 <br />First on the agenda was the application of Mr. Saler to be able to install two signs at his <br />business at the above address. After reviewing the permit application it was determined <br />that both signs conformed to the codes. IT was also stated that the pole for the road sign <br />is on the border of applicant's property and R&S Cleaners and that it does not hang out <br />over the sidewalk. IT was also stated that the road sign is not taller than the building. <br />Mr. Morris made a motion to approve the two signs as P~'~c~°~'~_ ~$'.'?_d, seconded by Mr. <br />Karge. Unanimously approved. Applicant was instructed to go to the Zoning Office to <br />pay for the permit. <br /> <br />FRANK NOVICK~ 28 MARKET STREET <br />Next on the agenda was the application with a proposal for the second story addition to <br />his' building at the above address. Mr. Barger representing applicant stated it would only <br />consist of 4 walls with open trusses. The only electric would be 2 switches for lights. <br />There would be no heat and no plumbing at this time. He went on to state that applicant <br />may in a couple of years want to convert space to a pool hall but he understands he <br />would have to go back to the Planning Board first. For now he would only be using the <br />space as storage. <br /> <br />Mr. Visentin asked what the square footage of the addition is and Mr. Barger stated it <br />was approximately 3400 sq. fi. Mr. Visentin stated he would need an additional 9 <br />parking spots to accommodate the storage area. After reviewingpreviously approved <br />site plans for the building it was determined that applicant had sufficient on and off street <br />parking to accommodate the storage area. <br /> <br /> <br />
