The regula~ meeting of the Village Board o£ Trustees was held on 10-11-89 at 7:30 P.M. in ~he Village Hall, Present: Mayor Hemingway~ Tr. Ward~ Tr. Fisch, Tr. Hargrave, Tr, Bfickley~ Tr. Costello~ Tr. Kolb and Arty. Viglotti. Treasurer Hasterson also present. ~inUtes"of two Public Hgs. and the regular meeting of the Village Board of Trustees had been duplicated and previously presented to Board me~bers. Tr. Fisch reported ~ corrections: On pg. 2 - Cost of computer for Zoning Dept. should read $5500. &nd not $7500. on pg. 8 - Appraisal cost of old Post Office should be $1800. and not $180.00. Hotion by Tr. ~uckley, seconded by Tr, Costello that the ab°Ve minutes be accepted as written and corrected. Carried. A~enda:. Mr. Allen Weitlich had requested permission to address Board relative to a property exchange. Mr. Weitlich distrilat~d copies of a memorandum to the Board outlifiing his proposal (Copy £ollows minutes of this meeting). He stated he wanted to swap land from the Village on lower MArket St, for the erection of a marina on the ~c~er creek for an equal amount of property behind Thornton~s Service Station adjoining our wells, Mr, Weitlich reported~this land acquisition would be advantageous'to the Village as protection to the'wells and~ pending negotiations with Village Atty,~ they would clean up lower Market St, Ne asked that Village consider proposal, Arty, Viglotti reported this issue would have to be voted on subject to site plans. Mr. Weitltch stated he was not specifically asking for marina at this tine. only a land swap, He'reported proposed marina w~u]d be subject to planning and zoning permits. Tr. Kolb reported first step woU~ be appraisal 'of Property and Mr, ieitlich replied he would absorb cost of'this and also engineering fees. Tr. ~isch recommended ~r. teitlich meet with ihs Boaxd at a future time and discuss options. Mr. Weitlich stated he wanted approval to staxt negotiations if Board thought the proposal £easable. Atty. Vtglotti reported Board had several options to negotiate and this could be done either asa Board or committee;
