Special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on ~uesday~ <br />April 24~ 1990 at ?:00 P.M. in the Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hemingway, Tr. Fisch~ Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Kolb, Tr. ¢cstello, <br />Tr. Buckley, Tr. Boring, Atty. ¥iglotti & Treasurer Masterson. <br /> <br />Action on 1990-91 tentative Village Budget: <br />Mayor Hemin~ay reported final budget was th~ result of many hours of <br />workshops attended by himself, the Board and Treasurer Masterson. <br />He stated the increase was reasonable and cited the replacement o: <br />~ast Main Street sewer line and the purchase of a multi-purpose <br />Street ~weeper as just two areas where tax dollars would be spent. <br /> <br />Treasurer Masterson reported tax rate was set at $115.00 per thousand, <br />a 7.48~ increase broken down as follows: <br />2,8~ to hold line on tax base & 4.6~ for increased costs. <br />She stated there was an increase in appropriations to allow for a <br />salary up-date for Fire House maintenance. <br /> <br />l~r. Anthony OiDoaizio inquired as to budget code A-7140 (Recreation <br />Director salary) & Ms. Masterson replied line item wac $5,000.~ the <br />same as last year. <br /> <br />Mr. DiDomizio stated that, under Code A-5110, the superintendentts <br />salary was not listed. <br /> <br />May= Hemingway replied salary would depend upon job experience of the <br />person hired. <br /> <br />Ms. Masterson reported there was enough monies allocatedlunder Personal <br />Services in Highway budget to accomodate salary for Superintendent. <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon stated Estimated Revenues have increased slightly and <br />explanation of' this should be mad epart of the minutes. <br /> <br />~reasurer Masterson replied Estimated Revenues have not changed. <br /> <br />T~. Napoleon stated Total Revenues in revised budget were <br />compared to $$37,893. in original and inquired as to why? <br /> <br />Treasurer Masterson replied change included an appropriated fund balance. <br /> <br />Hr. OtDomizio inquired as to cost of a new Sweeper and Mayor Hemingwa¥ <br />replied approximately $85s000. <br /> <br />Discussion ~ollowed on the advantages o~ a, purchase rather than a reutal <br />and the financing of same. <br /> <br />Tr. Kolb reported monies were allocated in budget for Slbper Willen <br />ambulance sevice. He dlecussed proposed contract"whereby Sloper <br />wOUld provide 24 hour coverage, supplement insuran ce payments <br />and provide for the non-insured, <br /> <br /> <br />
