Special meeting of the Village Board of Trustees was held on Tuesday, <br />Nay 2Zw 1990 at 7300 PoN. tn the Village Halle <br /> <br />Present: NaFor Hemingway, Tr. Fisch, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. Buckleyw Yr. <br />Bo¥ino, Tr. Kolb~& Tr, Costello. <br />Also present: Police Commissioner Terwilllger, Zoning Officer Pacio <br />~ Treasurer Nastersono <br /> <br />Agenda= <br /> <br />Appointment of Plu~bin9 Inspector: <br />Zoning Officer Pacio recommended Hr. John Ra~faele be appointed to the <br />above position & discussed his qualifications, <br />Ne stated Nr, Raffaele was a licensed plt~ber and would work for $20,00 <br />per job; his services would only be ut/l/zed on larger projects under <br />the jurisdiction of the Zoning Office. <br />Hr, Pacio outlined the need :for this type of service and stated Hr. <br />Raf~aele was willing to assume the duties of Fire Inspector. <br /> <br />Tr. Kolb recoemended inspections start with resiau~ants along Rte, 9 <br />in conjunction with grease traps and Nfo Pacio replied this has already <br />begun, <br /> <br /> Notion by Tr. Napoleon, seconded by Tr.. Boring that Nr. John Raf£aele <br /> be appointed Plumbing Inspector. Carried, <br /> <br /> Mr o Pacio reported Village Zoning ordinance has to be updated in certain <br /> areas to meet State regulations and major amendments are as follows: <br /> <br />1. Definitions <br />2. Open fires <br />3. Disabled parking <br />4. Swimming pools <br />5. Solid fuel burning requirements <br />6. Signs. <br /> <br />Ne stated he has 15 limes, as of nM, which needed updating, and <br />discussion follwed on consequences if code was not ~mended. <br /> <br />Tr. Kolb recommended contacting local municipalites which have <br />recently undergone revisions with their zoning codes and appoint an <br />Advisory C~mittee to study .~ and make recomeendationso <br />~ayor Heming~ay agreed Zoning laws needed revision but suggested all <br />significant revisions be submitted before conducting a Public <br /> <br />Report on Villge...owned propert~ on.
