The second meeting for April, 1993 was held on April 28, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in the <br />~illage Hall. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinm~ann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Usavich and Atty. Viglotti. <br /> <br />Mr. Burr, 21 N. Mesier Ave., discussed a problem with storm water, which <br />runs under the foundation of his house which he recently purchased. <br />He stated that,, at the time of purchase, he was unaware that a B-Dry syst~a <br />bad ~n installed and same was draining into his neighbor's yard. <br />Mr. Burr said he didnrt know where el~e~ to drain water as tbmre were no strcm <br /> <br />Tr. Usavich reported he inspected premises, as did Tr. Bain and Supt. Marshall, <br />and _~r. Burr w~s advised that problem would have to be resolved at his own <br />expense and the closest strcm drain was on High St. <br />He stated previous owner had the same problem but illegally drained saree into <br /> <br />Discussion followed on this problem and possible solutions. <br /> <br />It was recommended that, prior to any repairs being ma~l~ by Mr. Burr, he contact <br />Supt Marshall as to the best course of action to be taken. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Donald Gioia discussed a lot owned by Mr. Donald MacDonald, adjoining <br />property c~ner at 56 Mesier Ave. S, who has been confined to Castle Point for <br />the past several years. <br />Mrs. Gioia stated tbmt, during this season, lot is always overgrown, infested <br />with vermin, generates allergic conditions and, eventually, has to be cut by <br />Village forces. <br />Mrs. Gioia requested lot be maintained on a regular basis this season so that <br />problems can be kept at a rain/mum. <br />Discussion followed on possible solutions to .this problem and action which is <br />allowed under our present ordLn~nnce. <br /> <br />Mr. & Mrs. Gioia advised that ordinance would be endforced and, if condition <br />persists, Village forces will clean up lot. <br /> <br />Re~ort on Sloper Willen Contract: <br />Tr, Napoleo~ reported he spoke ~ta Mr. Schinella,Director of Sloper Willen <br />Ambulance, and he was agreeable to a t%~ year ]. contract without a rate increase. <br />Discussion followed on beu~fits outlined in contract and the interpretation of <br />same. <br /> <br />Board in agreement to a two year contract and Mr. Schinella be advised that same <br />be drawn up to tb~t effect. <br /> <br />Report on Liss t%oad Pu~ping Station: <br />Tr. DiDcmizio reported an on si~e' insp~tion and meeting was held last Thursday <br />and pumps have to he ccmpletely renovated, which is an emergency measure. <br /> <br /> <br />
