The regular m~cting of the. Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, ..'~y 12, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in tJ%e Village Hall. Present: M~yor Hinzmann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, Tr. Bain, Tr. Usavich and Atty. Viglottio Prior to the start of the meeting, a public diso/ssicm w~s held to address the issue of possible reductiom of full time Police personnel. Delegation of Police and residents present voiced their opinion favoring the retention of the full time Police Officers. It was determined that no action would be taken for a 90 day period and, in the meantime, Tr. Usavich r ..eported c~,t~ttee has and will continue to ~ct with rep- resentative of theFederation of Police to investigate the various aspects of this (Discussion in its entirety on tape at the Village Hall. ) Request from Lynn Henessey, 30 Fulton St., for a curb cut w~s presented at the last regular mccting of ~_he Village Board of Trustees and referred to the Public Works Cc~m. for r~daticns. Sketch of same was displayed, inspection made,and discussion followed pro and con as to advantages and disadvantages of this propo_ sal. Motion by Tr. Shay, seconded by Tr. Traver that the above curb cut, as proposed, Roll call vote: Tr. Nanoleon (Dray), proposal was setting a precedent. Tr. DiDcmizio (nay), Tr. Shay (aye), Tr. Traver (aye), Tr. Bain (aye), Tr. Usavich (aye). Motion carried. P~quest frc~n Mary Ross, Donna Hortc~ -and Claudia Sweeney to address ~ting relative to Code violations in the vicinity of the Coffee Shop and Reservoir Place. _Ms. Sweeney discussed numerous infraction behind the Coffee Shop and along Nmser- voir Place, the most serious of which are: Dumoster behind the Modi property continually overflowing causing a rodent probl~n and a health hazard. Raw garbage and broken glass thrown onto the roof of the Purdy bldg causing unsanit- ary conditions and a health hazard. Do prooerty owners have adequate off-street parking and so they conform with the size a~d number of apartments as the number of residents seem to be increasing as time goes on. The Delaney house on Reservoir Place is in a deplorable condition with broken win- dc~s and a perch roof which is caving in. Tr. Napoleon read copies of corre ._spondence sent by the zoning Officer on numerous occasions citing several of these violations.
