The regular m~cting of the. Village Board of Trustees was held on Wednesday, <br />..'~y 12, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in tJ%e Village Hall. <br /> <br />Present: M~yor Hinzmann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. DiDcmizio, Tr. Shay, Tr. Traver, <br />Tr. Bain, Tr. Usavich and Atty. Viglottio <br /> <br />Prior to the start of the meeting, a public diso/ssicm w~s held to address the <br />issue of possible reductiom of full time Police personnel. <br /> <br />Delegation of Police and residents present voiced their opinion favoring the <br />retention of the full time Police Officers. <br /> <br />It was determined that no action would be taken for a 90 day period and, in the <br />meantime, Tr. Usavich r ..eported c~,t~ttee has and will continue to ~ct with rep- <br />resentative of theFederation of Police to investigate the various aspects of this <br /> <br />(Discussion in its entirety on tape at the Village Hall. ) <br /> <br />Request from Lynn Henessey, 30 Fulton St., for a curb cut w~s presented at the <br />last regular mccting of ~_he Village Board of Trustees and referred to the Public <br />Works Cc~m. for r~daticns. <br /> <br />Sketch of same was displayed, inspection made,and discussion followed pro and con <br />as to advantages and disadvantages of this propo_ sal. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Shay, seconded by Tr. Traver that the above curb cut, as proposed, <br /> <br />Roll call vote: Tr. Nanoleon (Dray), proposal was setting a precedent. Tr. <br />DiDcmizio (nay), Tr. Shay (aye), Tr. Traver (aye), Tr. Bain (aye), Tr. Usavich <br />(aye). Motion carried. <br /> <br />P~quest frc~n Mary Ross, Donna Hortc~ -and Claudia Sweeney to address ~ting <br />relative to Code violations in the vicinity of the Coffee Shop and Reservoir <br />Place. <br /> <br />_Ms. Sweeney discussed numerous infraction behind the Coffee Shop and along Nmser- <br />voir Place, the most serious of which are: <br /> <br />Dumoster behind the Modi property continually overflowing causing a rodent probl~n and <br />a health hazard. <br /> <br />Raw garbage and broken glass thrown onto the roof of the Purdy bldg causing unsanit- <br />ary conditions and a health hazard. <br /> <br />Do prooerty owners have adequate off-street parking and so they conform with the <br />size a~d number of apartments as the number of residents seem to be increasing as <br />time goes on. <br /> <br />The Delaney house on Reservoir Place is in a deplorable condition with broken win- <br />dc~s and a perch roof which is caving in. <br /> <br />Tr. Napoleon read copies of corre ._spondence sent by the zoning Officer on numerous <br />occasions citing several of these violations. <br /> <br /> <br />
