The second monthly ~cting of the Village Board of Trustees was held c~ Wednesday, <br />September 22, 1993 at 7:30 P.M. in the. Village ~mll. <br /> <br />Present: Mayor Hinzmann, Tr. Napoleon, Tr. D~zio, Tr. Sb~y, Tr. Bain and <br />Tr. Usavieh. <br />Absent: Tr. Traver. <br /> <br />Minutes: <br />Minutes of the last regular --m~c%ing of the Village Board of Trustees held on <br />September 8, 1993 had been duplicated and previously presented to Board members. <br /> <br />Tr. Bain reported minutes should be clarified regarding request for sewer hook up <br />by. Mr. Robert Gray for a proposed restraurant at Wappingers Plaza. <br />He stated minutes indicate that this was almost an approved project and should <br />read preliminary approval was given pending an Engineering review. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. DiDomizio, seconded by Tr. Shay that the above minutes be accepted <br />as written and corrected. Carried. <br /> <br />Request from Mr. John Regan to address meeting re: leaf pick up in Mesier Park: <br /> <br />Mr. Regan requested clarification as to who would assume this responsibility as <br />smme was deleted from Landscaping contract. <br /> <br /> Tr. DiDcmizio reported Highway could assist with Pick up of leaves which had <br />been piled and suggested we could possibly work out sc~ething with Ccmmuni~ <br /> Services personnel. <br /> <br />Mr. Regan also discussed a broken time clock at the H~nestead, used by .various <br />departments, stating same would cost $325.00 to repair or $590.00 to replace. <br />He stated no monies were allocatted in P~rk budget for this expense. <br /> <br />Motion by Tr. Napoleon, seconded by Tr. DiDomizio that authorization be given <br />for the pllrchase of a new time clock at the Mesier Hcmestead. C~rried. <br /> <br />Request frcm Atty. Mmrold Mangold to address meeting re: Kennedy property: <br />Mr. Mangold report--~ property has been in use as a truck terminal for almost <br />50 years and property was a non conforming use. <br /> <br />He stated, this past March, the roof on a building collapsed as the reskO.t <br />a snow storm and the Fire Chief, Building Inspector and various Villag~r~ad <br />and recc~meD~ the wall be r~noved. <br /> <br />Mr. Mangold reported efforts were ~ade to restore building and owners appeared <br />before the Zoning Board of Appeals and ccmnenced a Public Hearing which is still <br />pe ii . <br />He stated owners have engaged appraisers, engineers, architects and surveyors <br />in an effort to resolve issue. <br /> <br />Mr. M2mgold reported zoned use of property is ~cial or Industrial and <br />realizing Village officals have b~n receiving oo~plaints as to the condition <br />of the property, they wanted to do scmething to a~te area residents. <br />He stated owners didn't knew direction ccmloany was going due to ISM c~tbacks, <br />their major custcmer. <br /> <br /> <br />
